      This is a total scam and I agree with everyone else on this thread. I did not realize that this would have cost so very much, when no one fixed the problem, but told me what the problem was which I already knew what the problem was and I ordered my own part myself and fixed the oven myself too. I tried to dispute ite it and they said no. DONT USE THIS COMPANY! No stars here but unfortunately we have to put a star.

      If I could give zero stars, I would. Do NOT use this company! They will not give you a quote without credit card authorization. They dont give you any diagnosis estimate up front. They come and spend 45 minutes doing a diagnosis and then give you a quote which was honestly about twice what it should have been. I fixed it myself for almost 1/3 of the cost. But even though I elected not to do the work, I was charged not once, but twice totaling $1400!! They denied a dispute claim. What an awful way to do business. Avoid!!!! My fault for not reading the steam of bad and truthful reviews.

      I had a bad feeling about this company from the very beginning. I told SmartCare the pilot light would not stay lit, so I provide all the information on my tilt skillet before the service technician came out including my phone number. I Didn't see them or even hear from them until I received a bill for $789.35. The Tech did nothing, I mean nothing. Didn't check the thermal coupler, tilt switch or anything, just a fat bill. invoice # ********

      Wish I could add a zero star review. They are not worthy of a one-star review. Please do not do business with this scam business. Shameful! Hope they get shut down.

      Complete scam!They came twice, didn't repair anything, the door was still broken, billed us.When we contacted them that the door was still broken, they sent *************** back for a 3rd time and billed us again. When we tried to dispute them and explain the first two repairs didn't fix the door we were ignored. In an effort to move on, we paid the larger of the two bills; they still refused to acknowledge us about the smaller of the bills and sent it to a 3rd party collection agency.Definite scam.

      My location is ************** **.Yesterday (5/31/22) I called the ******* where I purchased my ************** from to let them know of an issue I was having with the washer being unable to pump the water out. It is still under warranty w/ them as well as w/ *******. The customer ********************** rep there informed me that he would put in the request immediately and I should hear from ******* Smart Care within the next 24 to 48 hours. This was accurate, the next morning I first received a text and then a phone call. However the earliest appointment was for MONDAY! I asked the Representative if that was the earliest available appointment as I informed her that there was still water in the machine. She also provided no real information or expressed any concern about my issue. I also had an issue with the timing for the appointment, and when I expressed that myself or my partner may not be home for that particular time frame she simply said "I can make a note of that but if you're not there YOU WILL have to reschedule and that could be another few days" I'm trying to turn over a new leaf in my life so I simply said ok, and decided to post reviews about my experience today everywhere I can. Smart Care, you all need to do better because after reading some of these reviews I can already tell this will not be a pleasurable or easy experience.

      DO NOT use this company. They lie about services provided and their techs lie in their notes.We called Smart care to come and clean one ice machine and our walk-in cooler condenser. The tech came took care of both on the same day. We paid that invoice. Two days later early morning as I was leaving the store the same tech was there in his truck in our parking lot. When I asked him why he was there he said he didn't really know that they sent him back. I wasn't able to stay and no-one else was at the store. So he told me not to worry that he would clear it up with his Dispatch and I left. Turns out he sat in the parking lot and reported that he performed the services they sent him for. Now the company harasses me to pay for services we never received. We used them for preventative maintenance years ago but since we updated all our equipment we no longer wanted it and although I never formally cancelled anything not thinking this when on in perpetuity. If Smart care at the very least called to let us know they were sending someone back for this I could have at least disputed it. No-one ever calls they send people out and whether they perform work or not they charge you as if they did. I cannot pay this company for something they never did and unfortunately they will harass me forever. Save yourself the aggravation and find a smaller company that communicates with each other and knows what their techs are doing at all times.

      Please please do not use this company. They over **** you and keep harassing you to pay services that were not provided. Technician came right at 5pm, fixed it in 30 minutes and mentioned he will make a note to not charge for extra time for the service. Signed document on iPad that I never got a copy of. **** came with extra time with absurd charges, sent it back and they corrected it but now they billed me for 2 hrs of work which was never provided. I sent in payment withholding that 1 extra hr (so they got paid) but still keep calling me about the balance and still will not provide me with the document that I signed on the iPad..it's unbelievable, this is robbery!!

      Worst experience. Will never use again. They came out to fix an oven and freezer. Could not fix the oven. Looked at the freezer and the tech said someone else with refrigeration knowledge would need to come out to look at the freezer. We got **** over $400 for the oven and then was mailed another **** over $800 for the freezer when all the tech did was visually look at it and quickly state he could not fix it because he's not a freezer tech. One trip and was billed twice for the $135 trip charge and twice for the $17.95 "sundries charge". AGAIN it was all on ONE trip. Over $1200 and nothing was fixed. We are on month 3 trying to get the invoice deleted - still not resolved. You have to call an 800 number and submit a dispute with an operator. Worst.
