The 1 star reviews are true and I should of known before giving The House thousands of dollars in orders. Placed 6 orders over the course of 3 months and only 2 were delivered correctly. 1 order received wrong part, 1 order shipped with zero packaging and damaged, 1 canceled even though they showed stock. Last order was a bike. Ordered it because of the product specs met my requirements. When I received the bike, the one part that decided my decision to buy the bike, was swapped out for a downgraded part. The House response that it was a "typo" even though confirmed from other buyers and their own FAQ section I should have received the correct part. Instead they offered to credit back a small percent of the true value. Never seen a company fail to follow their own statements "reserves the right to make necessary parts substitutes of equal or better quality to fulfill your order" and flat out lie to me on bait-n-switch. Ignore the prices and sales, you will regret doing business with The House.Review from Amy B.

Terrible experience. Received bindings that were all scratched and thrown into the binding box. The binding box was also ripped down the one side, and my shipping box wasn't damaged either. So after multiple, and I mean multiple, attempts to contact the company about sending them back, and receiving a replacement, I had no luck. Pretty dissatisfied in the customer service being non-existent and the fact that I received a product that looked like it went through some things before ultimately being sent to me. Also this is my third attempt at posting a review; my first never showed up. And then after trying a second time, I received a message that I've already reviewed the product..But where's my reviewe then? So then I moved over to Trust Pilot and the BBB to write a review and should have checked here first, to see that many others are experiencing what I'm experiencing. On 11/18/2022 I placed an order for snowboard boots. I was charged the following day. An email came stating that it was back ordered until 12/1/22 and I would get an updated order and tracking number. An updated number appeared but no updated tracking information arrived. 3 emails have been sent to the company with zero response back for each. Numerous phone calls have been attempted but you are just placed on hold and no one answers- I have waited over an hour with nothing. When you try live chat the number cue place you around 100 people in front of you, but it never goes down. I have waited hours for a response back and nothing. They also only have a limited window for hours they stay open, which means based on how the cue moves I would be next in line sometime next year. Another email was sent asking how my boots are, I tried to leave a review to get their attention, but when I pressed the send for this the site went blank. I wish for my boots/ or a full refund since it appears that this company is possibly a shell. I have dates of all emails sent, along with call logs to support my wait times with no one answering. No stars from me but I guess you have to leave a star.Review from Todd D

I bought a speed suit form skis.com, which unfortunately was bought out by this company. We returned the item to The House for a refund and was told on 02/01/2022 that the check would take 3 weeks. 5 weeks later I have not received my check and I have been told that it originally was going to be 6-8 weeks but will be delayed even further. I never had any issues with skis.com with returns or anything. Had I known that they were being bought by this company, I never would have ordered. I have never had to wait more than a week for a refund from a company. Now The House has my returned item, THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR, and I can't get a refund from them. If they are not going to honor the refund policy, send me the speed suit back and I will sell it on my own to try to recover some of my costs. I will be contacting my credit card company next to see what can be done and if nothing, legal options.Review from Nick M

Wish I could rate this as -5 stars. I've spent so much money at this site in the past. I've never had reason to return anything so it was all good. Then I had to return something and I learn how terrible this place is, or has become. Is this an actual business or is it like 4 ppl working out of a garage?? Atrocious customer service. Xmas 2021, I ordered a jacket on Dec. 8th, plenty of time to get it by Christmas. They even had a promo where all orders were upgraded to 2-day shipping to make it in time. Xmas week comes and it hadn’t even shipped. So after many, many useless emails, I gave up and just said I'll return it when it comes. It finally came a month after I ordered. I return it and its delivered on Jan. 14. It's now February 10th and I haven't received my refund yet, so I had to call and listen to the phone ring for 10 mins to get told "our return dept is backed up right now." What a joke. In conclusion, the prices are decent, but if u run into any issues along the way or need to return, YOU'RE *******. If you don't have time to track down returns and call/email for months to get a refund then I'd say STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONLINE "STORE."Review from Trevor M

Garbage company. I bought items and some needed to be returned. I am not just shy of 2 months arguing with them over items shipped back. They received and cataloged the wrong items, refunding me a small percentage of what they should have. I have spent over 4 hours (during 3 phone calls) on hold. Emails are not responded too. Everyone I have talked to is completely incompetent and can't fix the issue. I am blown away at how bad this customer service is. At this point I'm out well over $1,300 because they cant figure this out. Mi at the point if disputing the charges with my credit card company as I am sick and tired of wasting my time.Review from Jim M.

Terrible...I bought skis that came w/1/2 binding set, due to arrive 1 + weeks PRIOR to Christmas..finally came, well after Christmas. Asked for another 1/2 of Rossignol ski binding, they can't find one, I try on my own, finally, they tell me that they will send a different set of skis AFTER I send mine back. I sent mine back a week ago, they CONFIRMED RECEIPT but no one has INSPECTED THE SKIS yet...WHAT???? Renting skis while waiting...still no skis, I email, now I am told that it takes 4-6 weeks to accept a return EVEN IF IT IS THEIR FAULT. Shocking...BUY LOCAL!Review from SharDae S.

The House merged/ bought out Austin Kayaks. I placed an order through Austin Kayaks in December 10th of 2021. It is now Jan 18th, and I have yet to receive my item. I have reached out to The House over 10 times with no resolution. When I ask to speak with a supervisor, I get the run around. The reps act as if your concerns are being addressed, but each time I call in no one knows what’s going on, or they rep will just sit on the line and never speak. I have been trying my best to get my order resolved without contacting the attorney general, but it seems like my next option.Review from Sezen A

Bought an item for $275. Never received any tracking on it. It has now been 18 days since I’ve purchased it (It was suppose to be delivered in 3-6 business days). I tried contacting the business via email and never got a response and called a phone number that was on the site, never got through to anyone. It appears to be a fake site
