Uponor is the manufacturer of the plumbing piping in my 10 year old home. Their piping products have a warranty of 25 years. **************** came out to my home on 4-25-23 and stated that although he had to cut the pipe the actual pipe sprung a leak where he has to cut to to fix what was leaking in my wall destroying drywall in the house. I had filed a claim with Uponor directly for reimbursement and possible replacement of "all" pipes in the newer home if necessary. Initially they didn't have my claim set up so I had to call and finally a male customer service person set up the claim for me in July 19, 2023 and he said they did have the claim but no one had set it up. I then sent in the pipe for review and investigation per their request. 10-16-23 they requested permission for testing which I approved. Oct 23 I received an email from a ****** in warranty that they tested the pipe and found no issues. I have photos of the pipe and to the untrained eye the pipe was faulty. The drywall remains to need repair and now I am requesting the entire house be repiped to avoid problems in the future since they plastic pipe is faulty. I requested a manager call me since ****** has not responded to my emails etc. Thank you ************************* ************ Claim #****** Photos, pipe and receipts already forwarded to Uponor *************Initial Complaint

The piping in my home developed a pinhole and caused flooding. I filed a warranty claim with uponor, they did independent testing which they claim didnt show any defect. The product has a 25 year warranty and is only 12 years old. I would like them to repipe my home to avoid any future damage and insurance claims. They say they cant find any defect with the sample that was sent to them ,yet they are offering to pay my insurance deductible and the plumbing invoice from the incident. That is a good start.. I feel that they are fully aware of the defects in their products and are simply trying to make this issue go away by doing the minimum. To repipe my home would be an expensive task, but I should not have to worry about the same issue happening again at a later date and filing another insurance claim.Initial Complaint

My house is 3 years old. There are Uponor pipes in my home and we had a leak. They have a class action suit about a recall of this pipe currently in **. They claimed my water is too hot. The test was done by them. Here is a timeline:Purchased brand new home June 2019 Leak occurred October 16, 2021 ************ came in to dry the damage. ****** came out to access and said the piping had been recalled and to send the pipe back to Uponor. The pipe was sent back on Nov 2nd and arrived Nov. 9th. Uponor came to my house on 12/20 and then gave me the assessment below. ****** came back out and said that Uponor was lying, and they should replace all piping, they would "fight for me" and then did nothing. They said it was a $14000 job. Uponor first offered $1000 and then $5000 as their final offer. This is the findings from Uponor.Uponor Claim # ****** My contact person is *************************** ***************************************** ************ Let me know if there is anything else I can provide. Thank you again. Hello *******, A detailed evaluation of the submitted pipe sample was performed by Uponor to determine the reason the pipe did not perform as expected. As part of the evaluation, a site visit was conducted on December 20th, 2021. During the examination, measured temperatures were observed in the range of 142F to 149.4F. Based on the information gathered during this on site visit and in conjunction with Uponors design analysis, we have determined that the failure of the pipe was a result of exposure to temperatures exceeding the published design rating and parameters of the product. As outlined in Uponors *************** Assistance Manual (PDAM), Uponor has established a maximum operating temperature of 140F for hot water recirculation piping. To obtain further information regarding these parameters, you can view the complete PDAM on our website: www.uponor-usa.com. In order to mitigate the risk of future failures and improve the perfo
