This is the company we rent through we did what we were suppose to filling out the two month move out sheet and our other roommate was suppose to take over the lease for the next year plans changed and he no longer is taking over the lease. Now out of the blue we hear our move out sheets are invalid two days ago turned in a new sheet and now were told we have to pay an extra months rent. I called the office to have the issue resolved and the lady I spoke to was incredibly rude she spoke to my wife first making her cry and when I tried to speak to her she wouldnt let me speak at all she kept talking over me and when I was in the middle of a sentence she hung up on me. Its also important to note that we were never informed by any property manager or leasing agent that our original sheets were invalid.

There were 4 tenants on the lease, and they wanted to give notice to move out and they were informed that the roommates had to sign the agreement that 2 tenants were moving out and 2 were staying and they never turn the form in to us. Then all 4 tenants decided to move out and had to give a 60-day notice and that is why they are reasonable for paying rent. This is part of their lease and our policy, and we have to treat everyone the same.

I am rejecting this response because:

This is completely false. Three I repeat three of us were moving out, and one was going to stay and bring a new roommate in which you provided an application for. I know for 100% certainty that myself, my wife, and **** our other roommate turned in the two month move out notice and if need be I will get a hold of the police to get the security footage to prove we turned them in please stop with the lies. Its not helping anyone here or maybe the whistle blower line would like to hear this story.

Four tenants are on their lease; two wanted to be removed from their lease, leaving two tenants to remain in the lease. Our policy is that if they want to do this, they must have the other two tenants sign that they are staying in the unit. This did not happen, and the other two roommates gave notice, and all four moved out; we require a two-month notice, and they are responsible until the end of September. This is our policy, and we must treat everyone the same. Thanks

I leased a townhome from DW Jones and was told it was non-smoking which was a gross misrepresentation. After living there for a few weeks, ***** smoke residue started to come out of the walls. I looked for a new rental and it took a long time to find one. I broke the lease and was told November 15th could be the last day on the lease. I was told I would get the second half of my November rent back and someone was moving in on November 25th. Out of the $2175 owed, they kept $1150. They kept the second half of the November rent and charged a $500 break lease fee. I'm fine with the $500 break lease fee, but am owed at least $650 back for the second half of November rent. They are a very shady leasing company and should not be able to be in business and misrepresent their rentals. Due to the condition of the townhome, I should not have to pay the $500 for breaking a lease on a townhome that is a health hazard. The company has a very poor reputation for many reasons. I have many pictures of the walls if a visual is needed.
