I moved on 5-2522 to *** ********** ****** **** ******* ** *****. I have been trying to get my deposit back but just keep being told it's lost in the mail. As of today 7 12 22. They are saying wait another month to see if the check shows up. Then today we get a certified letter in my mom's name saying the electric here at my parents has to change names by Aug 8th and a deposit paid. My parents have had that account 50yrs. My mom has been gone for years and my father is 92 and has altimers. I don't understand why now they need it changed and where is my refund. Life is hard enough without people acting like this. I want my money back.Business response

I called Ms. *** Wednesday, July 20th and had to leave her a voicemail. She called me back yesterday, July 21st. She said she had not received the refund check as of the 21st and I explained to her that we can not re-issue her check until 30 days after the check was issued. On Monday, August 1st I will re-issue her refund check, I will have it delivered to Iberia City Hall where Ms. *** will pick it up on Tuesday, August 2nd. Hopefully, this clears up the issue.
