There was a technical service Bulletin that came out on 08/2022. I purchased a 2018 Ford Escape on 06/14/2023 it threw a light on 06/16/2023 it was the check engine light. I called and they stated to go to pro care. Pro care told me they would turn the light and it would not hurt. I drove the care and the light came on again. So, they put four brand new spark plugs in the vehicle because Code type Cylinder 2 misfire was detected. When the spark plug was taken care of then there was an issue on 07/21/2023 that I had to take the car back. The code read about the technical bulletin that I mentioned in the beginning. I needed to take the car to a Ford Dealer. I took it to a Ford Dealer and they would not touch it because it was a bulletin and not a recall and they would not touch it. So, I took it to another Ford dealer because of the coolant getting down into the oil. I paid the second dealer for the assessment of it in the amount of $150.00. I called who I purchased the car from and I informed him that I owed the 2nd dealer for the diagnostic fee which is $150.00 he would not pay for this fee. I have a great fear of driving the car long distances because I believe the motor will blew up. I would like get my money back and give him his money back.Business response

Leadbelt Auto Sales purchased the 2018 Ford Escape from Smart Auction on 04/04/2023. All of our vehicles are checked over by a local repair facility and an ID/OD is then written. After a previous test drive we noticed an issue that we thought needed attention (nothing to do with the issue Ms. ******* is referring to) and then had Pro Care to repair that issue. Ms. ******* purchased her 2018 Ford Escape on 06/14/2023. The vehicle had 124,183 miles and was sold As-Is No Warranty. As with all of our customers, she was offered an vehicle service contract that would cover mechanical failures. However Ms. ******* declined the coverage, due to raising her payment, and opted to purchase the vehicle as-is. When Ms. ******* called about the check engine light we had her to take it to Pro Care and they changed out the spark plugs, (at no cost to her) Leadbelt Auto Sales good will this repair. After her concern on 7/21/2023, we offered to trade her out of that vehicle and into another vehicle with a similar payment, but she refused. We have tried to resolve this in multiple ways, however none were to her satisfaction. In her complaint I am not sure what Ms. ******* is asking for.
