On March 31,2022 I took my car to this shop to have the air conditioner and a door repaired, they determined I need a new compressor for my air conditioner and I approved them to repair it. On April 12,2022 I returned my car to this shop for a shaking issue I had with my car, they determined that it needed new brakes and rotors, which I also approved them to repair. April 22,2022 I drove my car and the shaking was even worse and the air conditioner just stopped working again. I took my car back to this shop and was told that it was a different issue with the air conditioner and the shaking is from the transmission, now they want even more money to address those issues. I paid this company over $1400.00 to diagnose and repair my car, which is still not running.Business response

This vehicle is a 1998 GMC Jimmy. Unfortunately, there is no way to foresee what components will fail after an initial repair has been made. In this case, we replaced the a/c compressor because it had a leak that we were able to detect. We recharged the system and the air conditioner cooled when it left our shop. Once a system is pressurized, sometimes the next weakest component fails. There is absolutely no way to know if or when that may happen. Regarding the shaking concern, the tires may need balancing. This was explained to Mr. ****** during their last visit. He adamantly and repeatedly stated that he was not putting any more money into this vehicle. The statement about the transmission was presented as a possibility, not a definite solution. Mr. ****** was very impatient and did not allow for a proper diagnosis to be completed regarding the shaking concern. All original concerns have been addressed and no refund is warranted at this time.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Everything that I paid for is now broken on the vehicle. Less than a month ago, I paid $1500 plus for a vehicle that doesn't work. We have been trying to get in contact with them and they will not call us back.Copy of invoices. The work they did on the window was done correctly so far. If reciepts don't come through let me know and I will resend.. Thank you, ***** ******

The claims that all the work done is now broken are false. There is additional work that is needed in order to fix the concerns. Additionally, the last contact that the customer made to us was on Friday. We have not received any messages or calls from the customer since Friday, April 22, 2022. No refunds will be made.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:the car is in the same condition as it was before we paid all of that money. The car only has 68,000 original miles on it. We believe the car should be running, smoothly with air conditioning. When we called the shop back Friday April 22, we were told by *** that **** would call us back with a price that day. We are still waiting for the phone call.
