I went to Meineke on July 15th to get my vehicle checked in to get work done on it. I needed rotors and brake pads. Meineke did the inspection and I called back on july 17th to see what was going on. Meineke informed me it would cost me 680$ for repairs and I agreed. Later that same day Meineke called me back stating they couldn't release my vehicle because the brakes were lock up and they would have to install a new caliper which I had already had installed weeks prior as well as a brake line and fluid flush. They told me they could not release my vehicle without these repairs forcing me to agree when I had already told them I only had the original money of 680$ and it was a stretch for me to get that money together now totalling 900+$. Meineke is now saying they have to charge me for storage fees because they have to hold my vehicle there when they already know I didn't have they money in the first place. They are intentionally trying to gain finances I do not have and I feel as tho they are trying to take advantage of the situation. If there is anything you can do to help me I would be very thankful for your help ***** ******* ###-###-#### I have not received any paperwork from them only rude calls demanding finances I do not have

An agreement was made with Mr. ******* to satisfy his concerns. Meineke did not charge him any storage fees nor a caliper. The caliper had not been purchased from Meineke. Mr. ******* was able to pick his vehicle up and we are happy to service his vehicles in the future.

I went to Meineke to get my oil changed in February 2023. My motor was blown that day. They eventually replaced my motor with a used one and ever since Ive had that motor I had to add oil continuously to three times a month to my car. When I first noticed that my engine light was coming on, I took it to AutoZone to get a reading because it was free and I was told that my engine was bad and I had no oil in my car. At that time I had already made an appointment with Meineke for an oil change but after I found out that information, I instantly went to Valvoline for an oil change. I took it back to Meineke to let them know that my engine light came on and to see if they can check the problem. I was then told by them that it was nothing wrong and that they were clean the engine. I recently took my car back up to Meineke on 22 of May, because my engine light was on and flashing. I was told I brought the car with no oil in it but I just put oil in it a week before and that they did a reading diagnostic on the car and found nothing. I dropped it off May 22 to go to work and when I picked it up after work and they told me that they added oil once I drove off, my engine light was still blinking in my car was smoking. I instantly turn around and went back to Meineke after going down the street and was told they were closed and I can bring it back the next day. on May 23, which was the next day once I got off work, I took my car to AutoZone to have them do a reading. I was told from AutoZone that I needed a tuneup. I took the paperwork back to the Meineke and showed them what they said then I was told they wont honor my warranty because I so-called didnt have all in my car but I did. Even they said they added oil to my car but my light was still on and flashing so it had nothing to do with oil. They said I had no oil in my car and it was empty but if that was the case, my motor would have been locked with no oil in my car. They are not trying to fix the problem and admit that they gave me an old motor from the junkyard.

They did not put the correct catalytic converter on my car. I asked for a refund and they keep telling me the owner is out of town. They have been doing this for a week. I want my money back because they can&#**;t get the right catalytic converter for 8 months.

My car was jerking while driving, I took my vehicle to this repair shop on 01-10-22, they stated they could not find any mechanical problems, they charged me $243.78 for a basic oil change and tire rotation, engine/drive train replacement. This did not resolve the jerking, I had to take the car back to them on 01-31-22, they now said they needed to replace 2 cam senors, battery, I was charged $144.64 for this visit. I had to take it back to them for the 3rd time for the same issues on 01-22-22, this visit they did more repairs and charged me an additional $530.77. I continued to have the same issues with the vehicle even after spending all that money, On 03-08-22 we were told to get off their property and ended up having to take my vehicle to another mechanic shop, which this shop did a diagnostic and found the ecm computer harness connector and ecm computer were both damaged by Meineke Car Care Center. I had pay this shop $1032.81. to repair my car.
