So far Ive had to replace many things on this car. If I had known it had this many issues prior to buying it I may have had a second thought about my purchase. The water pump, pulley, and belt tensioner were found to be bad. As well as all four tires. The windshield cowling was so dry rotted rain enters into the bottom by your feet. It took approximately 2 months to get this car repaired to be up and running. The first day we had it the car misfired and by day three the car was in limp mode and not able to be driven. The seller had an opportunity to help fix it but when I arrived all he did was try to find ways that youre just stupid and lying. After the way he acted when I took it back to him I took it to another mechanic because dealers should treat people that way. He tried to belittle me into the car wasnt leaking coolant because the day I brought it back to him it was raining so it was hard to tell. I have a $1300 bill from a reputable mechanic that says otherwise and pictures/videos. Thats only for the coolant leak. I have more expenses from the misfires. In total I have approximately $3000 in this car that was supposed to be in good condition. He didnt have any car information that went with it. No manuals. No carfax. Nothing. I have his original listing on ******** where he said it was in good condition with good tires. The tires were shot.

The vehicle was sold as is. He signed the agreement that he was buying it with no warranty whatsoever. He drove it for over 30 minutes with no complaints. He and his girlfriend looked the car over for another 30 minutes. They were offered the opportunity to take it to any mechanic of their choice. They declined. Whatever he did to affect the car after he left is on him and I have the paperwork to prove that. He doesn't even know how to drive a manual transmission. This is the most irrelevant complaint I have ever seen anywhere. Missouri is an As Is state and the paperwork verifies that. His refusal to have a pre purchase inspection done is on him. This is his second complaint about the same thing and the facts remain the same. He doesn't want to accept any responsibility for his actions but that burden does not fall on our company.

Attached is a copy of the Buyers Guide stating there is no warranty and the car was sold as-is. The customer signed and dated this document acknowledging and accepting those circumstances. The customer took the vehicle on a lengthy test drive and, as with all customers, we allow them to take the vehicle to any mechanic of their choice for a pre purchase inspection. The customer declined. It has been over four months and the customer purchased a 12 year old vehicle. Things happen with used cars and that is why they are sold as-is. It is always unfortunate when something goes wrong with a product but that is the chance we all take when buying used and that is why they are sold at a fraction of the price of a new car.
