I entered into a lease with option to buy agreement with them for their property **** *******. I put $15,000 down and per our contract I would pay a proration of 750 for the month of May 24, and $1500 per month after, with $1000 going to the down payment total cost each month. May was not a complete month due to the time needed to clear out the church so our lease was to begin 3 weeks after our meeting date. However, the May payment was waived due to not having the building prepared. I paid my first payment of $1500 June 3rd. By June 10th I fully decided the contract needed to be canceled after multiple meetings, and realizing we were not on the same page regarding the terms of our contract. ****** **** ******** of The Justice and Dignity Center tried to restrict my business to the third floor and it was discovered he was not aware his realtor updated the contract. The realtor, ***** ******* ** **** **** **** ****** simply stated he has a copy of the contract and should have read it. The terms in my contract are clear, however they chose not to honor them and continually asked me to make accommodations that would not work for my organization, or the other tenants that were supposed to become my tenants, but they also back tracked and changed that as well. After making substantial repairs to the property already it became clear they are unprofessional and disorganized and I was the one suffering and paying. After agreeing to terminate the contract ***** acted as if she did not know how and needed to consult with her Broker, **** *******. **** reviewed the contract and agreed based on the terms with me, but then no longer followed up. ***** never sent the termination documents, so I drafted them ( I am also a Realtor) they have stopped responding and not signed or returned my money, they locked me out of the building prior to July 1st although I in no way defaulted. ***** told me she was no longer involved and ****** **** ******** said he stepped down due to health.
