      On 12/30/22, Larry came to my house to go over everything before giving him half of the money. While on the phone with my dad, (because my dad was going to take off the old siding) we agreed the new siding would go over the shake siding (the 2nd layer on the house) as the previous owner did. And because the shake siding would stay on as insulation for the house, we agreed to change the written agreement from using a 3/4 in thick insulation to 1/4. 3 weeks later, he called to say the material came in and that he WILL NOT be putting it over the shake siding. I asked him why he didn’t mention this in the beginning, but he got mad and yelled and said he’s not doing it, absolutely not! He said he would give me back the money as he can find another customer to take the new material. Before accepting anything, I wanted to report him on the app ***** since that is where our contact started. After letting **** Customer Support know of the situation, they contacted him and they let me know he said he would leave the siding material at my house. I first asked him through text to give me my order details, but he refused to provide it, and continued texting me as if we were going through with the project. Completely ignoring my requests and the problem he had started. I told him to not contact me at all until he provided my order details. But he did not respect this and continued to harass me. At the end, I received more than 9 calls and 22 long messages. Since he was not working with me at all, I told him to just give me the money back. But he has now refused to do that as well. I escalated the situation with **** and they have tried to get him to follow through with something, but have been unsuccessful. He has dragged this on for almost 2 months and refuses to acknowledge his mistakes. I don't understand what he wants out of this. He can't keep my money and he cannot make me work with him when he has shown to be a dishonest person. This nonsense needs to stop.
