      From the start **** lied to me about when he would get started after I paid $16,000.00 for materials. Once he did get started and got the foundation ready he told me that the county *********** could not get out to inspect the foundation for a week. I called the county and they told me that no one has scheduled an inspection for my address. When I confronted **** with this, he got mad and said the county was lying. His crew are not tradesman professionals but concrete workers that he has do the siding and roofing, etc... They made so many mistakes that had to be redone that I can't even give a number. If I did not work from home and see all of the mistakes, I would not believe it. Every time that I would call **** on this he would get mad and this is his crew and he will fix anything that is not right. When the framer got the roof on, I noticed that they had framed in my cell phone booster cable so I could not get to it. And after seeing that, I noticed that they had created a big potential leak where the overhang met the roof. It was a total flat area that would hold water, **************** When I asked **** he told me that we will fix whatever is not correct but they did not fix it. The siding guy just kept putting up siding and when I told him that the roof needed to be changed to prevent a leak he told me "No it was good" and I told him to stop work, I needed to talk with ****. **** got mad and told me that he will fix whatever needs to be fixed. Then his laborer started loading full sheets of plywood on the trailer that was going to leave the job. I told him that he could not remove material from my job. He got mad and left and called ***** **** called me and told me that he was coming over to me house to deal with me and my mouth. I called the sherrif and filed a report. I had a real roofer come over to inspect what was built and was told that it is a total mess and must be redone to prevent leaks so I called **** and fired him. He is a terrible contractor

      I fired the company and have hired another company to complete the work.  I am not seeking a refund because the company never provided an estimate, so I can't determine what, if any the company would owe me.

      He was only building that addition to this house for his mother-in-law.   Once she passed away, it went downhill.  He always complained about the work and there was nothing we can do to satisfy him.  He still owes for the job.  He fired us.  We've had zero communication from him regarding work needing to be redone after he fired us.  If he would've contacted us, we would have come out and looked at the job.

      I am rejecting this response because: I already paid $16,260.00 (ck # ****) to **** on 5/19/23. I asked repeatedly for an itemized summary of his charges, and he would never provide it. I had to pay another contractor to redo the roof for proper drainage and replace the drip edge that was installed by **** because it was the wrong color. I had to replace siding that was installed by **** because it was not installed properly and kept falling off the house. I had to pay an electrician to reroute some electrical wiring because **** had left it hanging outside of the outside wall and the siding could not be finished. I had to pay another contractor to finish the siding that was never completed by ****. **** is a terrible contractor and I will make sure and pass this along to everyone that I know

      06/14/2024 AB: Consumer stated that business did not put in the desired window and just now noticed it. I would like for the business to buy and install the correct window to match the rest.  Consumer also stated that the business is not allowed back on his property. 

      07/18/2024 AB: Called consumer and left a vm.  

      07/18/2024 AB : The only window the business needs to supply is the double hung window for the single hung window they supplied.  I paid them upfront a little over $16,000.00.  I did fire them off the job due to their work I was complaining about and I was threatened. Consumer stated that he was not paying any additional money  and he was offered to go to arbitration and he stated that he would think about it over the weekend.

      07/22/2024 AB: Called consumer and asked if he would like to move on to Arbitration and he stated that he would like to drop the complaint all together.

      07/10/2024 AB: Spoke to ***********************************-************ (partner) We were fired off the job site, not willing to work with us, and technically he still owes us money that he did not pay.  Consumer is the one who picked the windows they are double hung windows. If consumer allowed us to finish the job without him around for two weeks and I would need payment upfront. We were fired off the job site.  I do not understand what the customer wants when he is requesting additional when they are all the same.
