We are working on a flip house and were looking for a reasonable price for a complete HVAC system. United HVAC was referred to us. Contact was made, price agreed upon and work was given to them. They came out, did the install and the unit has not worked since. Upon contact, the owner agreed to come out and get it running. Five days in a row an agreed upon time was set, five days in a row they did not show up. I am now forced to hire another HVAC company to come in and get the system running. I am going to submit the repair bill to the owner, but at this point do not expect a response so I am prepared to take them to court unless they do one of the following: 1) Honor their warranty of workmanship and come out to repair, and make the required repair. 2) failing that, pay the invoice I receive from a qualified repair company after they get the system running.Customer response

I had a Tech come out from a licensed HVAC company and paid $383 today to get the system temp working. Found many other inferior work done which will need to be addressed per the attached notes form the tech. It will be a costly fix. I texted the owner of United HVAC this morning to give him the opportunity to correct the issues himself and have not heard anything so I will hire this company. I fully expect complete compensation for my extra costs to get a working HVAC system.Business response

All work was finished and done. We could not link up at that time. We could not find a common time to link up. The customer was a little impatient to get complete a small part of the work, but I went back and completed the job.Initial Complaint

On 12/31/21 I placed an order with ****** ******* owner/co owner of business United HVac to replace my heating element on my electric fireplace. On 1/3/22 he set the bill at $65 and it was paid upfront as requested to cover the part. He advised to send payment through cash app which I did on 1/3/22. ****** advised part would be picked up service would be completed by Jan 7/8 of 2022. ****** brushed me off then started to dodge my calls/texts to the point I got tired of waiting realizing the job wouldn’t be done as promised. So on 1/11/22 I requested a refund and he told me he would send my funds back which he never did. I reported this matter to cash app which they weren’t able to recover my funds. Here it is 1/18/22 he still refuses to answer, return, or respond to my texts keeping my funds and scamming me. I filed a dispute with my bank as well. It appears I was scammed out of $65 which isn't right!
