I was looking for a mechanic to put on some struts for me , I went to Taylor & Page. When I arrived Mr ***** was there he had told me he could put the struts on for me. I told him I would order them and get back to him he advised me to get the struts with the lower arm on them because they are more easier to install. I found them online and ordered them. I called him when they arrived an he told me to bring my car in. After a few days of me calling him, I was able to get my car in. He worked on it for two days an I had one of the locks removed already due to the fact that my key to the tires had been stolen prior to me going to the shop. Mr ***** had finished one side an told me he needed his tool that was at another shop to take off the tire. Well that turned out to be not true,he didn't have or order the tool and just decided to chop it off it took all night on night and because the bolt was almost off I had paid him 150.00 because he said bring it back tomorrow and he would finish the job. it was really late so I left and returned in the morning and he didn't answer his phone or come to work for many days I stopped by s few times and ran into his boss who told me he would be in later everytime and he never showed up for weeks so I had to take my car to Ferguson shop to finish at he started and the told me he messed up the screw that the bolts go to on the tires I had to replace three of them and put the lower arm control on.Business response

The locks on the vehicle were engaged and we did not want to work on the vehicle in that condition. I informed the customer to have the locks removed so we could complete the work. The customer returned with the vehicle but the locks were still engaged and were recessed into the wheel. We completed work on the side that did not have an active lock. Generally, this job is $150 per side ; I offered to do both sides for $150. I would agree to a $50 refund.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I paid $70 for the other place to put it on. He told me to come back the next day and that tomorrow he would have the tool to take it off. When I got there he said he didn't have the tool.
