On 6/30/23 I ordered ************************ Astor: the rise and fall of an American fortune. I normally read e-books but I paid for a hardcopy book because that gave me a ticket to an online interview. I live in *********. There is no reason I would be buying a book in ********, if it werent for being able to listen to ******** being interviewed. I received confirmation within a couple days, but by mid-Sept, I was not hearing from the book store about the link that would give me access to the interview. I contacted them 3xs. The reason was they didnt want people sharing the interview link w/other people so they were giving it out as late as possible. I was shocked that the day before the interview I still did not have the link, but I had my zoom app ready to go. I teach during the day; I didnt get home until 630PM. Sometime that afternoon they released the link. they did not tell you that you needed at least 1/2 hour to prepare everything you needed to get into the meeting. none of their emails said that, but regardless the link they sent me (I have a picture of that also) did not work. It would not let me register. I did not have a zoom meeting ID. I could not see the interview. That is the ONLY reason I bought the hardcopy. I bought it 6/30, the day that ******** sent out a message saying buy it from left Bank books in ********, get a link to watch the interview. It took weeks for them to agree to let me return the book. They sent me a label Oct 3 after I requested 3xs. Twice since Oct 3, Ive let them know I dont have the book (which was shipped back Oct 3. The book was very carefully wrapped, the way I would wrap a book going to a friend. The label they sent me was ***** so the *** Store could not give me a print out of delivery. I have asked them 3xs - Where is my refund? Now theyre not answering at all. I have all of his documented in separate emails from me and from them.Customer response

The company did not contact me, but they did credit my account for the book. I found it one day when I was in my checking account. **
