Hydro Dynamics bid a drainage system for my back yard in October of 2021 for about $4800. The work was completed and I was assured that this should solve the problem of rainwater pooling and dumping out over my retaining wall and into my back yard. During the storm of July, 2022, which I recognize was an abnormally large rainfall, the system failed and spilled rock all over my back yard. There is now a large gully that has been dumping water over the retaining wall just as it had before. I contacted ***** at Hydro Dynamics and he said he would come over and look at it, which he did in early August. I never heard from him again and he has not answered any of my attempts to contact him. I assume I'm being ghosted and they don't care to help with this problem, which I relied on them, the experts, to fix for me. I realize that this was an exceptional rainfall, but I believe with climate change there will be more like this and I need this situation resolved. At least I would have liked to hear some recommendations from them, if not an offer to fix it for free or a reduced rate. At this point I'd take a partial refund and hire someone else to do this who will anticipate storms like this. This is shoddy customer service and I now realize that Hydro Dynamics is mostly an irrigation systems company and has no business holding themselves out as a drainage company. I have used their sprinkler services for over a decade and been happy, so this was very disappointing, especially since they are now ghosting a long-time customer.Business response

The week of November 17, 2021 through the 23rd of November, Hydrodynamics put a retaining wall in our back yard. The contract was signed and paid at their 50% in September. The wall is wavy, crooked, and doesn't match up to the deck as stated in the contract. They broke piping for the sprinkler system and instead of telling us so we could repair it before they covered it, they left pipes sticking out of the ground, straight up. They agreed to put out grass seed and straw. They threw out a couple of handfuls of grass seed and left. We have reached out for months without a response. One person came out and has seen how poorly the work was done. We have finally reached them after they sent us a bill for the remaining amount. They are not happy that we want a straight wall and are complaining that they have to tear it down to fix it. I asked for management and received only 2 names but no information. The bid for the wall was 8160.00. We have paid 4080.00. We are requesting the wall be put in correctly before the final bill is paid. Per the contract.Business response
