      On April 23rd Kleeschulte Inc. poured a new driveway, replacing the existing. On April 28th, cracks appeared in 2 sections of the driveway, while the pour was still curing. Contacted Kleeschulte, and the rep came out and inspected the sections. Kleeschulte offered to apply sealant to the driveway at no charge to me, or cut out the a cracked sections and re-pour. Since a surface crack will eventually cause concrete failure, i chose the re-pour option. Nothing happened in the month of May, and on June 1st contacted Kleeschulte requesting a date for the replacement. Was told that the replacement would occur when they had another job in the vicinity. It is now July, and still no replacement has occurred, nor have they contacted me. I find it very difficult to believe a St. Peters based company has not had a job 'in this vicinity' for the last 2 months. The sections need to be replaced!

      This is true what ****** has said.  I offered to replace 2 slabs for him as long as he new this could happen again and he would not accept that answer. He had few stress hairlines after few days and I addressed them right away. When I talk to ****** on July 5 and reminded him if I replace these 2 slabs and it happens again nothing would be warranty and this is in his contract. He hung up on me. ****** has been a very hard person to deal with. Few times a year I deal with irate customers that did not read their contract. His driveway looks amazing.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      i said 'will address the situation if it arises'. I will not go into any situation accepting failure prior to actions being completed. Have stated that from the beginning, and will continue to state that same response. I will not accept the same failure on a 2nd attempt. I told this to the business on the first meeting in May and was not told that was a problem,. At that time the work was to be scheduled when other business was in the vicinity. This latest is the reason i lost my calm. A new excuse for not addressing the sub standard work. 

      Guess we will be addressing this in a more formal environment.

      On October 1st, I had my driveway removed, then replaced, all in the same day (a rush due to weather, according to Mr **********). Typically it is a two day process, Day 1, removal then prepping, Day 2 pouring of the concrete). Due to weather concerns, they accomplished ALL in one days time. The next 7 weeks, the weather was impeccable, not much rain, moderate temps, perfect curing weather for the new concrete! HOWEVER, just 7 weeks later, upon taking out my trash, I notice a crack side to side across my large investment of $6225.00! I immediately emailed the company with my displeasure. Mr *********** then called me and assured me all was done right, but if the crack became large enough for a credit card to fit in the crack, “he’d take care of me”. On December 13th, I sent him pictures of credit CARDS standing in this continual crack on my new driveway. He called me then, in the way he does, self assured, and again states “it just happens, there’s no guarantee”, “then did I seal your driveway?” ( which I had paid an additional $700.00 for!) I said “yes”, he said “good, he would send a guy over to reseal the crack”. This ended up looking as though someone put clear nail polish over the crack, which was disheartening as well, as this was a $6225. Job I had just cheerfully paid for! The last email I wrote them was on December 13th, 2021, requesting either a new driveway be reported, or a full refund. He again calls, and says they’re closed until March 1st, 2022, but no way would they replace my driveway, they was no guarantee. I allowed the time to pass, as it was the holidays. Today, is March 2nd. I reached out to him to ask that he come physically view my driveway. While he was swamped, he ‘supposedly’ came by to view it, in person. However my Ring doorbell shows nothing more than a literal drive by, no one stopping, no one getting out to actually VIEW the crack. I am exasperated as a new driveway was a HUGE INVESTMENT and I certainly expected it

      **** *********** went by and looked at Ms. ******* driveway and looks great. She does have a crack in it but we cannot control cracking in concrete. It is stated in bid.  **** did go by and brush extra sealer on her driveway in Fall. I truly believe that she's looking for something for free. I have pictures of her driveway and it looks great. I did respond to her calls promptly when she called us.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I feel this company should back up their work. I am insulted to think he would make a judgement call on ‘who’ I am,
      as I in fact tipped each and every worker on sight a $20.00 cash tip, as a service provider, I appreciate good service, which is WHY I tipped them all, as I appreciated a service being preformed for me.
      I refuse to just walk away from a $6200.00 investment in my home by a bully!
