The new furnace (returns & duct work), installed in my home on 12/21/23 by *** Kekeisen (Kekeisen Heating/Cooling), is not operating correctly- heat is not flowing through the house as it should. I reached out to *** Kekeisen twice requesting he come and see what is wrong. *** told me he will not come back. Since the heat/air flow isn't flowing/operating correctly I was afraid this could cause damage to the furnace and/or other damage in my home; therefore I was forced to contact another HVAC provider to see what is wrong and what needs to be done to have it operating effectively.I recently received an estimate from a local HVAC provider of $4,227.23 to fix the problem. They said duct work in ***** is under sized, they needed to install sheet metal duct work from supply air plenum across attic space back into family room area. Cut off flex duct work and attach new duct work. Return air duct was found under sized. They would need to remove existing duct work and connect new return air duct work to furnace, seal off. Cut out at return air plenum under furnace, extend new return air duct work to return air grill. Connect and remove return air duct work going into attic space. Also remove extra duct work left in attic space. This additional cost of $4,227.00 is an expense I shouldn't have to pay and it has become a hard ship for me. I feel I was taken advantage of by Kekeison Heating/Cooling. I am requesting Kekeison Heating/Cooling cover the cost ($4,227.00) that I will have to pay to get the furnace (returns & duct work) fixed; like it should have been done in the beginning.I have attached the bill//invoice that I paid for my furnace installed by ******** Heating/Cooling and also the bid for the cost of fixing the current issues with the furnace returns/duct work.
