My vehicle was towed to shicker dealership on Thursday, July 27 at about 7 PM. Obviously the service department was closed by this point. However, we call them first thing in the morning when they opened up at 7 AM. They got us in the system and at the time they showed open appointments for that Monday morning online. Youd think theyd at least see us by then. They did not get to it on Friday and they did not get to it on Monday (even though they were open appointments). Tuesday rolled around and they finally pulled it in to service and run inspection on it. They quoted us to fix what was wrong with it, and we had declined. The tow company left the tab with Schicker, which was quoted $70 from the tow company. They charged us $110 for the tow and $100 for the diagnostics, even though it had sat there for five days. When I called to make a payment over the phone, it took three representatives to assist me and then they just forward me to a voicemail. They never returned my call, & because I am without a vehicle, my dad went up there with my card to make a payment. I am dissatisfied with the amount of time it took to run just a diagnostics on this vehicle. Many people do not have more than one vehicle - they should be prioritizing customer service. This is not the first encounter *** had. A year ago, my vehicle was dropped off at this location and I needed a new touchscreen display put in. My vehicle sat there for three weeks until I just had it towed to my house ordered the part myself and watched a ******* video. It is a scam to pay this much money and still have poor customer service, and no resolution. My husband is currently deployed so doing this on my own is hard enough already, let alone them marking up the towing fee, having poor communication, and no respect for peoples time. I will NOT be back to this location and I will definitely never refer to this location. I feel like the diagnostic should have been free at this point.Business response

We understand our customers position. In order to resolve this issue we have decided to refund her $99.00 for the Diagnostics and $40.00 for the tow.
This is what she requested in her letter so this should be 100% satisfaction.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
**** got to the resolution of our issue and it was greatly appreciated. He called and spoke with me on the phone and decided to even reimburse for the towing. I was not expecting that. Just hoping for the diagnostics fee to be waived. He was extremely professional about the issue and took ownership. Thank you again for working out this resolution.
