We hired All-Star *********************************************** to bring our Septic System up to the county standard enabling us to sell the property. All-Start Pumping did the work without an approved permit from the County resulting in improper work completed. They are refusing to refund our money.

      Good Morning,

Our Master ******* has tried to speak with Mr ***** ***************** several times and they just keep hanging up on him.  Please see the attachments that will explain everything.  Last page please notice that the inspector states that any added drainfield would be performed by a company other than All star as we do not add drainfield lines which is another issue that they needed.  It was explained to the ********* that we do not do that. All of our work was completed and did not require a permit through the county.  I believe the county rep's name is *******

Thank you for working with us to resolve this matter.

Please note we hired this company to complete the following tasks.

             1. Aerator
             2. Raise Distal Ends to be accessible for maintenance.
             3. Wiring Replacement
             4. Septic Tank Pumped

We never asked them to add lines to our system. While working on Item #2 they found the ends of our septic system to be on the neighbor's property, so they needed to be cut back onto our side of the property line.

Attached is the rejection letter we received from the county.

As noted in item #2 by the county inspector "The work done to move the drain field lines was done without an approved permit, and the work did not meet the requirements." This is what we are requesting our money back for as we now have to hire a new company to do that work.

Due to their inability to communicate with the county inspector and acquire the proper permits at the start of the project we lost the buyer on the house. All I am asking for is our money back for this work not the loss in sale of the house.

      Thank you,

      *************************

Attached you will find txt messages exchanged between my Husband (*************************) & an All-Star employee. These txt messages were provided to show proof of All-Stars work which included moving the drain field lines. Attached is also the rejection letter from the county stating The work done to move the drain field lines was done without an approved permit.

We are requesting our money back from All-Star because they performed work on our property without the proper permits from the county. The work done did not meet county regulations.

We will refund this customer $2300.00 for raising ends of the lines.  I will need a correct mailing address because I believe they do not live where the work was performed

On 06/01/2023 they came out and told me that there was a root in my sewer line, and they needed to get that cleaned out. They charged me $3000.00 and I paid 1/2 and they needed to call dig right to get the clearance to dig, and they informed me that I could not use any water because it would back up into the house. So, I waited and dig right came out. They did not show up the next day due to the rain , so I called the next day and they stated that they would be out the next day, it has been twelve days and they still have not been out to my house yet. I called them today to see when they would be out and they stated that they would be out the next day. My daughter spoke to them by this time and informed them that she would be contacting the news and contacting BBB if someone was not out to do the job and hung up the phone. Shortly after someone called back from company and stated that they would issue me the refund. I was left twelves days without using the water. I would like to be refunded in the amount of $1500.00

      Business response

      06/12/2023

We have refunded this customer $1500.00.  We are required by law to contact dig rite and we have verified with dig rite that they performed their locate on the 6th of June.  Today is the 12th and we did already have other jobs scheduled but she was on our list to do.  We did not give her a start date because it depends on how long the other jobs take.  Pauline did tell our tech that for the meantime she was staying with her daughter.  Her daughter did call our office today and completely cursed my employee and advised she was calling the news.

      Thank you
