We have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times. Traveling from Texas were not aware that the rooms on the 3rd floor were still under construction. We were able to move to another room that still had holes and paint half way on the wall. This hotel has signs all over about no one to smoke weed in the room. I received a knock on the door from an employee by the name of ******, and ****** and a new employee accusing us of smoking in the room. The room across from us was being cleaned which smelt and we smelt it down the hall. I was very frightened and felt threatened that these employees which two were quite large were at our door. I told them they could come in our room, but we were not smoking, ****** then said well ok because if you were we would charge you $250.00. In my experience most hotels will not bother a customer if they had a issue with their room until after the check out. We had our room cleaned 2 times and never did they smell any kind of smoke because there was not any smoke. We do not smoke in hotel rooms especially because we are aware of extra costs. We are very professional people and do follow rules. I felt very uncomfortable and did speak to the front desk employee ****** which she apologized and said that they should not have done that. I also spoke with the new manager ****** in which she apologized. I also was very unhappy about the way the rooms were presented. We paid a high price for rooms that were on the level of a low star hotel. I feel we should of been compensated. The breakfast was not good, which we understand due to covid. One day there were no waffles. They also told us that we needed to request our room to clean which we did on two of the 6 days we were there, and each time I had to also call again on the day of our request and they had no record of us asking. In the evening the employee does not wear anything that shows he is a employee, no badge or anything. The employees were even smoking in the areas
