I received a letter today regarding reference number ******* for a balance SleepLinks is fraudulently claiming I owe them via a collection agency (Capital Accounts LLC). This is the first time I am ever received any notification of this outstanding fraudulent balance from SleepLinks. I stopped using their service in October 2021. The CPAP equipment and attachments were paid by Medicare and Medicaid for 13 consecutive months up through November 2021. All services/equipment through this period was paid by Medicare and Medicaid by December 2021. Therefore by medicare guidelines and the fraud department at Medicare no further payments were due to them. I reached out to the owner on several attempts to let him know to stop fraudulently billing medicare and Medicaid and that they in fact owe me a credit. He never returned my call. I went into their office several times as well and the women working in the office said someone would review my account and call me back. This went on from Dec 2021 through March 2022. Unfortunately, no one ever called me back. The last time I called their number in March I was informed by the individuals they hired to answer their calls because they had shut down that they closed their business, but were receiving a bunch of calls from unhappy former clients complaining about being billed fraudulently. They continued to fraudulently bill Medicare and Medicaid for equipment/service for me in error. Medicare rejected those submittals because they were fraudulently being billed. So, any charges listed from the company under my name is fraudulent.
