I had numerous of issues with this business. It took 2 years to build a speaker box. I paid for it upfront. 1 year later I'm still waiting. I check in on it and the owner goes off on me saying I didn't pay nor no ____ box when I had the texts from the one who built it in the shop. He cursed me out at front of the other customer's after I've spent 1000s in this shop. I talked to the builder in the back and he said I needed wood. So I go get 3 sheets of Burch wood. Very expensive. I dropped them off at the shop. Months go by. Nothing. So I called the owner ****. He said it's not in the computer. So it means you didn't have anything... I'm telling him I have texts from the builder in the back whom he sent me to to pay and work out the build and the pay. It was 250. I paid him 260 after we came upon a agreement. So he been paid. Now while the box was being built. I had the sub for it on layaway. It was about $750 for that sub. No cheap. When the box was finished. I paid the sub off and got it . Now it's been 2 years. He brings me a 18 inch sub with a dented up dusk cap. And it wasn't the model I originally put on layaway. I even have the pic of the model u was suppose to have. He treats his customers like shit. Not I have to buy a dust cap for a 800 sub. And that was supposed to be a new sub. But the sub I got was a display model. The company who made the sub wants 100 bucks for a new dust cap. And I can't buy it. I have to go to the dealer. Guess who's the only dealer in town. Advanced audio. I can't deal with him anymore. He won't listen or help. My Info on the sub wasn't in the computer. So my other friend that works there tried to pull up the sub I brought to order the dust cap. It want under my name. He just gave me some stuff he had in the back. He doesn't want to warranty my stuff out. Speakers I brought. The dust cap costs 100 bucks. After I spent 800 on the sub. And to cuss me out is crazy and still take my money. i want this fixed.Business response

In reading this complaint I am very confused. The customer claims it took 2 years to build a box and then claims he has been waiting for a year for a box. I am the one who put the 18 inch sub on layaway
for this customer and he was given a large discount on this item because the dust cap was dented. This does not effect the performance of the sub. It is a cosmetic issue only. Even though our layaway is
for 90 days he was given almost a year to get the sub paid for. I certainly would not curse a customer out. In talking with the installers he never brought any birch plywood to the store to build a box.
He did drop off some cheap pine plywood which we do not use to build a box. He can pick that back up. He has not paid for us to build a box for the 18 inch sub. He is more than welcome to discuss this
with myself and the installers . If need be I can contact the manufacturer of the sub and see if they will deal with him directly on the dust cap.

We purchased a sound bar for our Jeep amd called for an installation. They told us they could do it the next day. They installed a new radio we purchased from them alsoWe had to call 5 hours later because they never called even thought they said it would take 4 hours. We got there and the guy said some of the lights are not working. They didn’t install the factory dome light back just laid it in the floor. The unhooked our light bar and used the fuse instead of running a new wire so the light bar didn’t work which they should not have touched. Some wires were not connected and were just loose in the sound bar. Screws were stripped in the new bar and some screws were not even put back. They are closing and said they didn’t have time to deal with it . We paid and left we found more problems the next day. We called and they would not talk to use we called several more times amd they refused to refund any of the install fee or offer any help. We live 5 hours so we can’t just drive to them to make them fix it. We are just asking for our install fee back and they still refused.Business response

We were more than willing to talk with the customer and explained to them that if they had any issues for warranty on the installation the vehicle would have to scheduled for an appointment. From there we could resolve any issues they had.
The factory dome light was never discussed being installed but would have done so if the light bar they had purchased had the wires for this without having to dismantle the original sound bar. We did have a problem with two lights and left this
unhooked so they could try another speaker there. Asked if they could to bring vehicle back in Monday. This was a Saturday. Actually we did run a new wire for the lights on the new sound bar. Yes the install did take longer than we thought due
to trouble shooting. Again vehicle must be brought in for us to take care of any issues.

I am rejecting this response because: I explained to the business we were on vacation and live 6 hours away. We can’t just bring it back that easy. The dome light was addressed and we were told the installer couldn’t put it back. They did disconnect the light bar that is located on the Jeep . That was not part of the install . They took the fuse from it to use on the new sound bar which was not asked or agreed upon. We had to rewrite it due to that . Several of the speaker wires were not connected amd lights in the speaker were not working. They told us they were already closed and rushed us to pay. We paid on good faith that everything was done correctly but it was not. Some wires were not even connected as you will see in the pictures . I called them multiple times . They are unwilling to help us we had to get the entire sound bar and speakers removed amd wired correctly . We are not being unreasonable . We are just asking for a fair deal. The install wasn’t done correctly and the young short guy that installed agreed things weee wrong . The guy would collected payment also agreed there were problems. .

As stated before to warranty the installation the vehicle has to be brought in to the shop so we can inspect and correct any issues. This has not been done.

I am rejecting this response because: as I stated before, we live 6 hours away. We brought several things to their attention that day. They were closing amd were rushing us to leave. I called first thing that Monday morning when they reopened. They were short and didn’t want to really speak with us. We explained all the problems amd the owner did not want to listen .we tried multiple times to discuss this. We are only asking for a partial refund . The installation was done incorrectly and that is what we want refunded. We had to redo the install due to wires not being connected or wires incorrect ly

We will always take care of any issues with an install but the vehicle has to be brought in to the shop. The install was completed with all wires run into the sound bar, 3 amplifiers were installed and a radio. If vehicle had been brought back in Monday
would have taken care of any issues there might have been. I the owner never spoke to the customer Monday morning it was later that evening and I explained the way the warranty on the installation works.

I am rejecting this response because:we did call first thing that morning. The young guy would answered the phone was the guy we paid on Saturday. He said the owner would give us a call within an hour. My husband had not heard back 2 hours later so we called again. We got the same story. Several hours later we called again and he spoke to the owner. We called as soon as they opened amd explained all the problem we had . They knew we were on vacation. We were also told 3 hours for the install. 4 1/5 hours later we called because they hadn’t called us. . As I stated before we live 6 hours away and can’t just bring it back that easy. We showed pictures and explained EVERY problem we found. Even the install guy explained he knew there were problems but didn’t know what tod o

I am rejecting this response because: as stated multiple times we live 6 hours away. We can not bring it back. The problems were addressed at time of pickup and they didn’t offer to fix anything we were rushed . The manager nor owner was not there . We were told to call back Monday morning and we did. We have done what we were asked but bringing the vehicle back was NOT AN OPTION DUE TO THE DISTANCE
