Contacted BJ Roofing in mid October 2023 and they visited my home, climbed on my roof and gave me an estimate. After several promises to begin the job with materials sitting in my yard they did not show as promised and I canceled the job. A second reason was the they delivered material was inferior to material promised. I also reviewed sources including the BBB and found several similar complaints about follow ups to correct unsatisfactory work. In addition I spoke with local customers who confirmed dissatisfaction one who discovered items missing from his home upon their leaving his home.Review from CINDY E

B & J Roofing installed a new roof to fix a leak in my bathroom. While installing, they CREATED a NEW leak that they could NEVER repair ( they tried numerous times) around a chimney. We got another contractor to take down the chimney. As they were taking it down, they saw that there was still old felt in that area! Which raises my suspicions about the rest of my roof. Did B & J install new felt or commit Fraud?? Which also makes me wonder if that is why my ORIGINAL LEAK in the bathroom is now leaking Again! B & J could not find the problem and told me that the labor warranty has expired! So I have a two year old roof with the same leak!!!!

Mrs *****, you also failed to mention that we told you and Mr **** to start with that the chimney was installed wrong and needed to come down but yall insisted on it staying up. The crew you hired to come remove the chimney used 2 different brands of shingles and tied them in totally against MS CODE. They used 30lb paper felt, we used 50lb synthetic felt. I can show you any section of your roof, except where they installed wrong shingles at the chimney area, where there is new synthetic felt and ice and water shield in ALL valleys. We came and fixed the first leak as well as your inside damage. We then came back over 2 years later to look at a bathroom leak AFTER your warranty had expired for free. We found no damage nor any faulty installation. We sealed anything that COULD have leaked and never heard back from you. We assumed it was fixed. Instead of calling us, you run to the BBB to complain. What poor character Mr **** would have never done that
