Bought a car a little over a month ago only to find out the vehicle is NOT road safe. Power steering needs to be replaced, alignment needs to be done, steering rack needs replaced, and many other issues that will cost an arm and a leg. If not fixed we run the risk of a wreck. Safety issues are unacceptable as the vehicle is not exactly road legal since diagnosed by ***** We also still are not able to register the car and are driving on expired paper tags. Title needs to be dropped off WHEN vehicle is purchased not after the first payment is made. In order to avoid going to court, I would like to resolve this as amicably as possible.Customer response

The sales rep **** was wonderful with getting me financed. I had gotten a warranty thru the financial department. I have called several times to **** also the mechanic to try to resolve issues with the vehicle. It has always been no answer or a Im busy with a customer Ill call you back with no return phone call. Also was told to contact the mechanic who wont answer a call or text about fixing issues with the vehicle. We bought this vehicle to have reliable transportation for our daughter we were promised a great vehicle and all issues would be resolved but this has been nothing but a headache since.Business response

PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PDF WHERE CUSTOMER AGREES THE VEHICLE IS SOLD AS-IS IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT DOCUMENTS, THAT HE HAS INSPECTED IT, AND NOTHING ELSE WAS PROMISED. HE PURCHASED A POWERTRAIN SERVICE CONTRACT, WHICH IS FOR LIMITED SERVICE, ALSO ATTACHED. THIS IS A LIMITED SERVICE CONTRACT FOR A 3RD PARTY. ************ HAS BEEN GONE, BUT DID DO A FEW MINOR THINGS FOR THE CUSTOMER. ************ HAS BEEN UNRELIABLE AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING. IN CLOSING, THE VEHICLE WAS SOLD AS-IS AND THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRS, UNLESS IT IS SOMETHING COVERED UNDER THE SERVICE CONTRACT, IN WHICH CASE THE NUMBER TO CALL IS ON THE TOP OF THE *** CONTRACT (ALSO INCLUDED). I am rejecting this response because: I asked the sales person many times if the dash lights and few other things would be fixed, he said yes they would fix everything once the warranty kicked in. I have contacted my bank and also contacted the loan company about this issue.

As I said and provided backup copies, the customer signed documents saying,"nothing was promised, and the vehicle was sold as-is." The salesperson denies making such promises. WE CANNOT OFFER ANY SHOP WORK AT THIS TIME, however, I will offer $100 towards work on the vehicle, but legally I have upheld my contract requirements.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Of course he will deny cause after we bought the vehicle and I tried to call and speak with him about stuff he was always busy!!! We asked him many times before signing the paperwork about the dash lights being on and if he would fix it and he said once warranty kicks in we will fix it. I would have gotten something else if I knew he wouldnt hold up his end of the deal
