I hired **** to finish a remodeling project in our master bathroom because I have used him before for other small jobs in my home, during the last day **** backed his trailer attached to his truck into my vehicle while trying to back into my driveway. **** got out looked at the damages, got back into his truck and left. Upon confronting him, he cried, apologized and offered to knock off $300 from the final payment. We declined and told **** that we would go through our insurance company to repair our vehicle and he could work out a deal with them. He got upset and tried to charge us more than the agreed upon amount for the remodel project. We told him absolutely not, so he stops answering calls so April 15th we filed a police report. Once **** and his dad **** found out they started their bullying campaign. **** texted me and told me that he would not pay for the damages to my vehicle and that he is going to put a lien on our home, he also said that he would have his attorneys contact us because he is taking us to court, **** admitted fault to his insurance company after learning about the police report and they're going to cover the repairs but that still didn't stop the threats and dishonesty. **** bragged about "padding the books" to create false billable hours. **** also bragged about how his dad told him he should be over charging us, **** bought tools he needed for the remodel project and bragged that **** told him to charge us for the tool purchase and keep the tools. **** accepted recreational marijuana to ingest with his wife when he got home and invited us to join his family at the bowling alley as well but now, he has spearheaded a bullying campaign instead of taking responsibility for hitting my vehicle, leaving and not repairing the damage. **** made uncomfortable comments about wanting his wife to be a housewife like me, and how he wanted to have a home like our home so that his children could ride their hoverboard inside like my son does.
