My wife made a reservation at Yellowstone ***************** of ********** ******* for 1 night. September 4, 2022. The total for the room was $122.53 which I paid for in cash. We got to our room and found it pretty disgusting. The bathroom had hair all over the toilet, tub and sink. I cleaned it myself. At that time I wanted to give the place a chance. We then went to pull the covers back on the bed and found some sort of sticky substance on the sheets and more hair everywhere. We informed the front desk. They moved us to a different room. We immediately checked the bed and found it to be dirty and full of hair as well. I told the front desk I wanted a refund and that we would not be staying there. I was told I had to wait till the next day because they did not have access to the safe. Which was a lie. I returned the next morning and was told the same story of not having access to said safe which Im guessing doesnt exist. The hotel finally called me back on the evening of September 5, 2022. I was told I wouldnt be getting a refund. Was told I spent too long in the room and I didnt give them a chance to make it right. I just want my money refunded. We didnt use the room so why should I pay for it.Initial Complaint

On April 27, I stayed at the Yellowstone ******************* (formerly Yellowstone Pioneer Lodge). I was charged incorrectly, and as of June 4th, I still haven't received a response let alone been given a refund. I was correctly charged for one night's stay ($76.56), but I was also charged an additional $73.28 three weeks later for no apparent reason! I have tried to get a hold of this business as well as told my bank, and since I haven't heard from the business, I'm writing this response to the BBB. Among the lodging reviews is another patron of the establishment mentioned in their review that they also have been charged an additional amount and haven't received a refund either. So this is not just one incident, it's more than one. In summation, I'm wanting a refund of $73.28 to the card I used for this stay.
