I was charged with a DUI, which requires me to take a chemical dependency evaluation and then 2 ACT classes. I called Western Montana Mental Health to get these two things done. In order for me to schedule the evaluation I had to pay $200 upfront. They wouldnt even schedule anything or proceed without payment. It was after I paid they told me they dont know when or if the class would take place after the evaluation. I had to have everything done before January 24th (I called and this took place early December). Because they couldnt guarentee my class would be done or even take place before Jan 24th, I cancelled the evaluation and scheduled else where. The front desk transferred me to billing where billing told me the payment processed, so for the refund I will receive a check in the mail. This could take 4-6 weeks. They told me they would process the refund by the end of that day so I would get it ASAP - I said ok lets go ahead and do it. Its been over 2 months and I have tried calling 10 times to see where my refund is and no one answers. *** tried front desk, *** tried billing, *** left messages and no one has answered nor gotten back to me. So I paid for a service that they couldnt promise me would happen, so I had to cancel. Now I would like my refund and I cant get ahold of anyone to see whats going on. Hello,
I finally got a response, not last Friday but the Friday before that, from ****. She profusely apologized and owned up to their mistake. She then personally called the acccounting department and had them write a check. She told me if I didnt receive it 2 fridays from when she called I need to call her personally and she will get to the bottom of it. I received the check today.
Thank you for your help resolving this issue, unfortunately it comes after my bills were due. I was in a life threatening vehicular accident. An impaired, uninsured driver hit me head on. I almost lost my life. I have spent months in the hospital and I have not been able to work. Disability takes 12 months to be approved or not, so times are tough. Finally getting this money back is a big help.
