Broke down on the highway had a tow company tow me over didnt know the tow company own the shop plus the tow company. Was quoted 2500 for repairs. And then was told that they were going to buy a head kit and it would be 4800 but they may not have to use all the parts. Final cost and repairs was 6800. Had my vehicle for eight weeks drove it up three times back And forth because the truck had oil light on. Was told that my parts had legs and walked off. Said that they shipped out my heads To be cleaned. Was ignoring my phone calls when trying to check on my pick up. All around the worst experience I ever ever had.Business response

The customer was quoted the job before any work was done. After work was completed we had a warranty issue with an oem part we had gotten from butte dodge so the job had to be done over again at no expense to the customer, but it did cost some more down time.
after the job was completed customer had a plugged radiator from head gasket stop leak someone had put in the system. This issue could not be checked until the vehicle was operational.
Customer ****** the ********************** back for low oil pressure issues. Oil pressure issues are not related to the head gaskets replaced on the vehicle. customer overheating the vehicle before it was towed to our shop most likely caused excessive low engine wear from high extreme engine temperatures. let alone the Vehicle nearing 200k miles on the lower portion of the engine.
The shop has stood behind all the work they performed, any issues unrelated the the job performed the shop will carry no liability for.

Approximately a yr ago, June of 2023, i had to seek car repairs and took my car to their shop. On the way out of town on my way back home my car broke down. Communication with ****, the owner was like pulling teeth. It was one thing after another. I would reach out a couple times a week trying to get updates on the progress they had on fixing my car, but struggled with getting information from anyone at the shop. In March of this yr and after $2800.00 in repairs I was contacted by ***** that my car was done, it was all fixed and ready to go, that it was going to be working and driveable. I decided to trailer my car home due to it being a 10 hour trip back. When they were loading my car onto the trailer it stalled a couple of times, my friend who was helping me, noticed that there was a oil leak so I immediately went and got one of the mechanics there. They "supposedly" tightened what was loose. When we were off loading my car, the oil leak was still happening. The car struggled to start and the oil light started beeping. When we opened the hood to check the oil we noticed things were not bolted back down or connected. Had I attempted to drive it home I would not have made it to *****, which was about 27 miles away. I immediately reached out to a local shop and they picked up my car. They figured out what was not completed and fixed as well as finding a few things that they said was listed on the original invoice from Treasure State but in fact not fixed and/or done wrong. I now have an additional cost of $1300+ just to see if my engine is still good. We found there to only be 1.5 quarts of oil in the oil pan. The new shop found small amounts of metal in the pan and in the oil filter. I sent pictures to **** of all the things not bolted down and wires left unconnected. The only reimbursement he sent was a check for $346.00 which was unsigned. I dont want to cash the check because I dont agree with what he feels was "making it right" for me.Customer response

Here is the invoice from the shop here in ********** State. It lists all the things they repaired and things they still need to fix. Though fixing the final things doesn't mean my cars engine is not blown.Customer response

Our 2007 Cadillac broke down on 7/16/23 outside of *****, **. We contacted this company and they towed our vehicle with the understanding that they would fix it and we would check back with them when we returned from our trip. We rented a car from *******, ** and drove to the shop arriving on 7/27/23. We spoke with **** who advised that our vehicle was repaired. It was a transmission line. We paid the bill and as a result of our car being fixed, we returned our rental car. We get about 150 miles away, car rental returned and our car broke down again with the same issue leaving us stranded for a second time. We called **** and advised him if the issue to which he told us the problem must have been deeper and the was nothing he could do. We are now out additional towing, hotel, and bus fare to return back home to ******. I am seeking a refund of the money paid for repairs to our vehicle as repairs were not done. Thank you for your consideration.Initial Complaint

I took my 2012 **** Fusion S into Treasure State Auto Repair in ********* ******* and had the valve cover gasket replaced on my car. Weeks later after the repair, I had to fill my windshield wiper fluid and opened the hood of my car only to notice that there was engine all over the underside of my hood and covering my entire engine. I took my vehicle back to Treasure State and spoke to the owner ***********************. The car was diagnosed and I was told by the garage manager that "it was our fault, no one could have done that but us". He was telling me that the *** seal was damaged when they replaced my valve cover gasket. The owner, ***********************, order a replacement *** seal at that time. When the *** seal came in, I brought my car back to the shop where they replaced it. They said I would be called when the job was done on a Friday. I was at work and no one had called me that Friday. I called around 5:30 pm and they said that the job was done. After work, I picked up my car and drove it home. The next morning I decided to open the hood to check underneath and, once again, oil was all over the underneath of my hood and all over my engine. I called and told them what was going on. SO ....when I took my car in to let *********************** look under the hood, his workers proceeded to stuff torn rags into the top of my engine to stop the oil leak while adding 4 quarts of oil. That's how much oil had leaked out of my engine from Friday evening to Saturday morning! ****************** said he would order another seal and that it would be in on Wed, 5/17. By then end of business around 4:30 pm, I called them because they hadn't called me back. The part still wasn't in and no one knew anything about what I was talking about. I have 0 trust in this company now and will take my car to ******************************************* in ***** to have the repairs done correctly. I want reimbursed for all the money I paid to TS Auto and want them to pay ******************************************* for the correct repairs.Business response

********************* car was brought in for valve cover gaskets. the valve cover gaskets were replaced. the car then cam back for a vvt solenoid seal leak which is unrelated to the original repair. The *** solenoid seal is on the valve cover but not removed when the valve cover is taken off. the seal was likely dry rotted from age as was the valve cover gasket and that's why it had to be replaced. The shop offered to replaced the *** solenoid gasket as it was a very simple and cheap job to perform. Shop replaced the *** solenoid gasket free of charge and the car came back a few days later cause the gasket had failed. the spring that holds tension on the seal around the solenoid had pulled through the rubber sealing material. ***** notified on May 22nd 2023 that the new gasket had arrived so we could replace the seal again. ***** never showed up for repair.
The work Treasure State truck performed that was paid for was a valve cover gasket which had no issues.
