I went to Luxe Aesthetics for a biopsy near my left eye that my dermatologist referred me to *********************** for. I have no issue with the procedure or the results itself - however, when I received my bill, there were a number of charges (totalling $608.24) that I had questions about - namely, they charged me $75 x 2 for taking two photos of my eye (one before the biopsy and one after the stitches were removed) WITH AN IPHONE. Literally, the nurse pulled out his iPhone to snap the photos. Additionally, my insurance changed between the procedure and when I returned to have the stitches removed, however they didn't submit the second claim to my new insurance provider, rather they submitted it to my prior one and it was denied. I have now called Luxe Aesthetics over 10 times (and left over ten messages) over the course of two months, for someone in their billing department to get back to me regarding these issues. I reached someone in their billing department once - I explained my issue to her, and she said "that sounds strange, don't pay the bill - let me look into these charges and get back to you ASAP." She never returned my call. I have since called 4 more times and left messages each time, both in their billing department and with their reception. No one returns my call. All I want to do is get this bill resolved, and I fear that in the meantime, this will end up going to collections and impacting my credit, all because they are not returning my call. It's incredibly irresponsible business practice.
