      My 2022 income tax check was stolen and cashed at a Bank of America, without proper ID. My locate county PD filed a report and asked B of A for the name of the person who cashed that the check, and B of A refused to give the name of their teller. I have been dealing with this for two years, and B of A is refusing to cooperate or refund my money. Its a sad day, when a big corporation protects a thief!!

      Bank of America is the worst bank in the **. Ive been banking with *** for 5 years and it sucks! No incentives, no loyalty to clients. BS customer service, no regards to customers EVER! They will steal your money, lock your account. I hate it. I wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy and I meant that. Please dont bank here, you will be better off, with an online banking account such as SOFI, Chime, and CASH APP! Run, please dont walk.

      Ive been lied too many times by Bank of America. I was told my provisional credit would be in my account after 10 days every day that I call after the 10 day **** on the claim Ive been told its been noted and Ill see the credit after midnight been lied to many times day after day then today the representative tell me he sees no notes about any credit . This is why banks are bad for business especially chase, Bank of America , and **************** just horrible

      Today I have been beaten down by my experience with BofA, and my daughter cried, all because Bank of America refuses to fix a merchant error on a transaction that they won't honor anyway. My account is sitting at negative $1100 and the bank I have been with for almost 20 years can't even promise they will credit the funds back tonight even though I stopped the check. Let the buyer beware. This bank wants to charge you to lend your money out. They will use any excuse to charge you a fee. Lost your job? That will be $12.00 a month. Need a cashiers check? $15.00 please. And let's not forget the mandatory 25 minute wait. A bank that profited $25 billion dollars last year can't be bothered to fix a problem that everyone admits was not caused by me.This bank is as warm as a knife through the back, as caring as a school of piranha, Bank anywhere else.

      Unbelievable! I have a small business account which I have had for some time. I deposited an *** check and the receipt said release funds within 24 hours. Later tonight I get an email that says the funds will be held now for 7 days. I called the 1800 number and talked to a supervisor. They offered no help. They treat their customers like s***

      *** is not a good bank. I set up a new account and was told I would have access to a digital debit card until my card arrives in mail. It didnt work. I had to go without a debit card for 10 business days. The same day I opened my account I considered closing it because I didnt wanna be without a debit card. I decided to keep my account but they closed it anyways. In turn, the money in that account had to be sent out as a check. Its day 14 and I still havent received the check. I was told if it didnt arrive in two days they would apply it to my account. Spoke to *** today and they said I was misinformed. They would have to reissue a check to me. Who knows how long that will take being that I never received the first one. All I received was a bunch of apologies. No resolution besides me waiting. *** is the worst bank Ive ever banked with. Its been one F up after another.

      After reading many of these recent reviews, I see my recent experiences within this past year with BofA falls right in line with what everyone else has experiences with this organization. I've been doing business with them for over 20 years. However, everything started to go down hill when I moved some money away from them and then I sold one of my houses that I had the mortgage with them. **** then decided to attack my checking account, and now my credit card. I will save you the details, but let's just say no one in the organization was willing to listen or help even though the responsibilities of these horrible experiences lie within their organization. GOOD-BYE!

      *** on ************ in **********, ***** and **************** is a tip off it has been two (2) weeks since my checking and savings accounts were hacked and wiped out both of my accounts. I my checking account was changed finally after meeting with 4 different people in the branch, numerous phone calls to customer service and 4 times having yo go in branch to confirm my indenty n still no debit card or reimbursement I have been charged $125 for late rent n cant even pay it now because no money or debit ******** have until November 20th now received six (6) emails this morning (11/11) n my new account has been cancelled, still overdraft has it bern hacked again or inside job!!!! No one will help me. I am a 72 year senior citizen on a fixed income n being ABUSED by BOA.******* ******** in ***********

      I wish if I can give them one star go the frustration that they put me through!I couldnt know them until today when I needed to talk to them! Managers are terrible here, They cant fix the problem and also they cannot be nice. I been a loyal Bank of America customer for over 10 years, and up until the last couple of years, the service was always great. Unfortunately, recently *** encountered a noticeable decline in customer service. Today, Ive been redirected to agents who struggle with English, have had noisy backgrounds, or put me on hold for long time.. . When I requested to escalate the issue to a manager, it only got worse. Managers were unprofessional, using street language, and seemed more focused on being confrontational rather than resolving the issue. There was no empathy, compassion or effort to resolve the issue leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer and put me in depression mode! . I would strongly advise potential customers to think twice before opening an account or applying for a credit card with Bank of America." Totally rude and unprofessional bank of America be ready to fight and s**** your day!

      Bank of America is the worse!On 10/23/2024 I called and spoke to rep#1 in order to close my account. Rep#1 told me it would take 7 to ******************************* to receive the remaining account balance via cashier check. On 10/30/2024, I called back inquiring about my check. Rep#2 informed me that the account was actually closed on 10/26/2024 and I would receive my check within another 7 to 10 business days. On 11/2 I called back, only to be told by rep#3 that the account was closed on 10/29/2024 and I would receive a check in 7 to 10 business days which would have been between 11/5/2024 and 11/8/2024. On 11/8/204, no check. I called on 11/8/2024 and rep#4 informed me that the account was closed on 10/29/2024, but it took "2" business days for the account to be phyiscally closed. Rep#4 then told me it takes another 2 business days for a check for the balance to be "generated". Rep#4 also informed me it would take another 2 business days for it be sent ****. In total, this process took 22 calander days. As of this complaint 11/8/2024 I still do not know when or IF I will get my small check - my social security check. My first one I might add. None of the **** (1-3) bothered to tell me the "process" - taking 2 or 3 days to close the account, taking another 2 or 3 days to generate a check of the remaining balance and then another 2 days to mail it out with 7 to 10 days waiting. As mentioned, total time as of 11/8/2024 - 22 days. This " process" should have been done in one day. Close the account, issue me a check right then and there. But no!! It took 22 f$%#ing days.

      Thank you for the ***ly. I found out the check "was" mailed. I was notified by a *** *** that the check was returned from my local post office. I believe this was due to an address change. I submitted a change of address on 11/1. This probably took the post office 7 to 10 days to make this change. Therefore, the check was at my local post office. I do not know when it arrived and this is the million dollar question. Had I known, I could have physically went to my local post office and fetched it with my ID. However, the *** *** who called informed me it would take another 10 business days to issue a new check and mail it out. In total, this "process" will now be 37 days. From my first contact to close the account on 10/23 to now receiving a new check by 11/29/2024 is 37 calendar days - 5 weeks! Just to close an account.
