The three young gentleman who helped me move were very friendly however when I started on boxing my items I found numerous things that were broken. Four of my seven lampshades were ruined. Two picture frames were completely shattered. And several other items broken one including a ******* lamp that my children gave me 20 years ago that is destroyed and irreplaceable.My best friend was with me as they were moving the items into my new house and she and I both heard breaking glass and ask them what it was and they said they did not know.I have emailed the manager of this company in ********* and he has yet to respond to me. he will not return my emails or phone calls. I am highly disgusted because I am out probably $1000 because of damages and I would never use this company again. TO THIS DAY NO ONE WILL RESPOND TO MY LOSS.

Do NOT ever consider hiring these people. After a sudden and unexpected death in my immediate family, I needed to pack up those belongings, along with those of my elderly parent, for what would ultimately be a succinctly timed cross-country move toward the end of Nov. 2022. Several weeks before the move we hired College Dudes (***********) to pack the vessel that would be used for the move. (I can't locate their name on this BBB website for the ***********, or perhaps *******/****** address, so I am leaving it here under the company's *********, ** address.) Knowing how highly stressful this time was for us mourning our family's tragic loss, College Dudes assured us we would be in good hands with a reliable, professional, two-person packing team. After confirming the scheduled appointment the day before, imagine our utter shock, disbelief and major upset when they bailed on us at the last minute, in the form of a text we awoke to the morning of the scheduled pack, that due to a labor shortage they'd have to cancel. They didn't even have the courtesy (or guts) to phone us, or to even see if they could somehow help in another way. Two months later, and none of my calls have been returned. Sure, after needing to follow up with the company that took our deposit payment, we were able to get that back. But the point is ... this whole situation was beyond the pale, shameful, and like nothing we have ever experienced ... unprofessionalism and unreliability at its absolute worst ... during one of the hardest times in our lives.

Highly DISSATISIFIED with this service. This company needs to be put out of business. Do not hire them. These men were far from professionals. There was trash left all over and marijuana left behind in a urine sample cup!Every item we had was damaged, they charged extra to move the washer/dryer, yet they damaged them tremendously. These were brand new with out any wear and tear.We had to try and babysit them the entire time to be sure they were carrying items properly and wrapping the furniture. We hired movers to help ease the stress of moving and were left with more stress, damaged furniture, and now the "fun" of submitting claims which are only covered at .60 cents a pound. Which doesn't even come close to replacing these items or our time.We were told they could professionally move a pool table to which we also were quoted extra for, these guys had no tools and no idea what they were doing. Nearly ruined the $4,000 pool table.1 of them did nothing but sit in the truck, they (2 of the 5) left multiple times during the move for 30 - 40 minutes at a time.I've been trying to submit a claim on the claims form for days now, it continues to fail to submit. This company works a scam. Scheduled our move. 2 trucks schedule for four movers 2 kids and one truck arrived a little late no problem. 8 hrs later another truck showed up with two guys. No joke second truck showed up at 10 pm. They put on a great show for us. Got stuck on another job blah blah blah. We though how dedicated right. We were finished with them by 2 am. At this point we are exhausted, disgusted and they have us in a very vulnerable position. They jacked up the price. Threatened to keep our furniture if we didnt pay their ******. Broke and damage so much of our furniture and appliances. So of course what recourse do we have. Considered calling the police. We paid them When they pulled out of the driveway to leave for the night. With the truck facing out to the street. No backing up required. They wanted to get out so quickly they hit the gas and ran into our steel grade mailbox($1200 cost to us). They were so messed up they went the wrong way and had to pass us again. We flagged them down and showed them the damage. Remember it is 2 am now. They assured us their boss would cover the damages. It hasnt happened. This was a horrible experience and I learned a lot. Stay away frown these guys. Horrible presentation of what college students are really about. They use the college student as their scam to pull you in. Not sure if the students know what is happening on the back end of this business. We plan to take them to small claims court and to file a scam report. Buyer beware

I would give negative stars if I could! This was by far the worst experience I've had with a move and not to mention the extreme lack of professionalism!!!! To start, I was quoted a price to move by a salesman prior to the move. We agreed on a price and I was satisfied. Prior to the move I had to speak to my salesman because we had to be out of our house a certain day and would not be able to move into the new home until a couple days later. I was told that it wouldn't be a problem I would just be charged a storage fee. NO PROBLEM! That works great for me. I was told my items would be stored in the truck, locked up and would stay at their facility until it was time to move. The day I'm suppose to move a ** ****** calls me to go over the details. He first tried to up sale me on another gentleman then he proceeds to tell me that my move would cost more than said because it is considered two different moves "of course I was never told this by the salesman ". Of course I'm furious but don't have a choice because I have to be out of my home. At this point the gentlemen arrive to move my home. Not only smelling like a pound of weed the lack of professionalism was amazing! On top of not getting the job done in a timely manner, they broke many items and tried to hide it!!!! Now, let's get to the move to the new house. First they were late and this was a different crew. They proceed to tell me I'm going to be mad when I see this truck and tell me the truck that had my belongings in it had been driven around the day before! Why??? Why would the truck that was full with my items be driven around? Why was in not secure in the yard as I was told it would be? We'll we proceed to open the truck and my items were thrown everywhere as if it was going to the dump!!! More items broken, scratched torn up. Just in complete shambles. I then want to speak to the ** and he proceeded to pass the buck to someone else and wouldn't speak to me. I will be contacting corporate and my lawyer in

College Dudes Help U Move was a great experience. We sold our house Sept 2021. It was a stressful time but the movers showed up on time and made a plan and went to work. They even moved a few things from upstairs to the downstairs that we were leaving to stage that were to heavy for me to move. The Operations Manager stopped by to ensure the crew was running on time and operating efficiently. I cant say enough about the good experience.

Very unprofessional company to deal with. I highly highly highly recommend to everyone to use anyone but these guys. The company has no idea how to quote you. They will quote you a cheaper price then charge so much more. They will also send the wrong trucks as well. Do not make the mistake I did and use this company.
