I was appalled, shocked, and in disbelief at my recent experience with this company. Had hired them to fix a toilet in my house, and a few days later the toilet was still running and my hot water in my house stopped working. So I called them back up to look at the toilet again and while they were here on 8/16/22, look at my hot water heater. After pulling apart my tankless hot water heater and charging me $329 to check and see if it was under warranty, the technician ****** tells me I need a new water heater its completely shot and quoted me $6,500. I trusted my gut and got another company to give me a quote on my water heater. Almost immediately as this new technician arrived from Browns Plumbing, I magically had hot water again. I asked him what sorcery he did, he walked me out to my water heater and showed me the gas line attached to the water heater, then told me all he did was turn the gas on because someone had turned it off......Since when do you trust and call a company to come fix a problem for you but instead the tech is turning off the gas supply to my water tank and scamming me so that he can make money off me buying a whole new unit. Instead of me paying him to fix a problem, he fabricated a completely new problem hoping to make money off me. Thousands of dollars mind you. When I spoke to the manager ***** to complain, ***** completely ignored my complaint about the technician, did not apologize for his behavior nor address the issue with the technician. I was at the least expecting him to reprimand, question, or hold the technician accountable. Instead he dismissed it and said call me personally if you have any problems going forward. He refunded me $75.00 but again, never addressed the problem with the dishonest technician he employed trying to scam me.Business response

This customer has slandered our name and even had her daughter post a review about the same issue, we have handed this over to our attorney and will be in touch with this customer. There is a lot of history with this customer and our company and tried to explain to her the reason the gas was off is the technical support for this product advised us to. This customers problem has not gone away and if continues to slander our good name legal action will definitely be perused as her and her daughter refuse to accept our phone calls to discuss. We feel there is no resolution other than from our legal team to stop their false allegations on our company.
