To start off I have over 20 emails back and forth with ***** and his people in regards to a refund for my Gatsby tickets from a party that should have happened in 2020. I also bought vacation rentals from him which I havent even been able to use or know how with no help or emails back in regards to that either. I have given this man over **** of my money for 4 tickets to a Biltmore party as well as vacation rentals in total. The check is in the mail I never received a check. We can send it via Venmo never got a venmo payment. Its sad I have to even result to this, however; this was a lot of money and for someone who looks as if they profited over 1 million dollars in the past three years and cant be respectful enough to refund money to someone is insane. To have a good reputation you need to be an honest person with integrity and both have not been displayed. It wasnt a shock to come here and see there was an F rating. I just want my 4 ticket refund and my vacation rental refund of 150. I have receipts and emails, it makes no sense for this to go on for years. I, my husband and my friends who purchased these tickets on my credit card simply want a refund 2.5 years later.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Back in 2019 4 tickets were bought for Gatsby at the Biltmore. Along with 3 vacation rental packages. Going back to the previous complaint, the company has stated they had my last name wrong and were reaching out. They indeed reached out and stated my check was yet again in the mail. Here we are 6 months later and no check. No response to my last email and yet again here I am, demanding money back. I have spoke to a lawyer and since ***** played a factor in this stalling out factor, I have the opportunity to take legal action. So again Im going to make one more attempt in compliance with my attorney to get a refund in a timely manner. Thank you, *********************** not *********************.Desired Resolution:

In 2019 and 2020 I purchased over $2,000 for several tickets to ******************* Gatsby party which ended up being cancelled and rescheduled multiple times due to covid. I also purchased 3 night, 4 night, and 7 night vacation packages. I was only able to successfully use a 3 night vacation for the ************ condo but all other calls, texts and emails to request *********** refunds have been ignored. I am rejecting this response because:I have been attempting to get a refund from ***************************/ The Veretta Group for 2 years, maybe longer for an event that was cancelled due to covid and vacation packages that were purchased but unable to use due to not being able to get in touch with anyone to confirm availability. After spending months/years trying to get refunds, around Christmas 2022 I filed a complaint with the BBB and posted a complaint on ******** which resulted in ***** asking for me to remove my reviews. I agreed to do so once I received the refund. On Feb 22, 2023 ***** emailed to apologize for not having issued the refund and asking if his records on what he owed me in refunds was correct. They were not. On Feb 24, I responded with documentation of what was owed ($1,478). Despite multiple emails and phone calls, ***** has once again ceased to respond.Initial Complaint

I purchased two ticket to the 2020 Gatsby party. The event fell through due to Covid which is understandable. However as we were told we would receive a refunded and our attempts to contact ***** have gone unanswered over two years, I would appreciate a refund and clearer communication. As the business seems ignore customer service except for when it is in their favor I feel this is of note. Stay far far away. ****** only prerogative is money and taking advantage of people. He is in over his head very far and this is no ones responsibility other than himself. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone further. However it does seem that this is a persistent problem. We regret that your experience with our Gatsby event was a bad one. After 4 years of successfully executing this event, our events were wrecked in 2020 due to Covid- just 10 days before opening night- sending the events side of our business into a tailspin. We've since rebounded and have been getting back up to speed.
This customer has now been refunded via mailed check.

I made gatsby party ticket purchases in August 2019 for a party that was set to be in ********* at ************ in 2020. The party was obviously cancelled due to COVID. *****, the host, said that tickets were refundable if wanted or we could hold out until we were able to have it. He then allowed the ticket holders to purchase vacation vouchers at a lower price as a thank you for holding out and not yet refunding the tickets. I made two separate purchases for some of the vacation vouchers in May 2020(attached). Never was anything said about them being non refundable. (I have email and it does not say mot refundable- cannot attach due to size) I planned on gifting some the vacation vouchers to vendors from my wedding, however they came destroyed in the mail. I reached out to *****, and was told that he would resend them. I never received them and was able to gift them to anyone in that condition despite him ensuring they would be there on time. I gave him a date of September 10th to need them by even though my wedding was not until the 26th. I have reached out several times since then to find availability in his properties to attempt to use one of the vouchers. Not once have I been successful. Additionally, ***** changed the location of all parties he will be hosting from Biltmore in ********* to a venue that he purchased in *********. Because it has been years, and is very clear I am unable to use the vacation vouchers, and the change of location for the party, I reached out to request a full refund. Once we replied, he said he would take care of it today after seeing my message regarding a refund of tickets and vacation vouchers. He did not do it that day. I sent more messages and info, when he finally did reply/refund he said the vacation vouchers were not refundable. And has since blocked me. I have requested the refund via Venmo and emailed with no luck. I have screenshots of all communication.Business response

Purchase 2 VIP tickets to Gatsby Event in ***********. Event was cancelled. I reached out by phone and email over 6 times. The last communication with ************************* was August of 2021 and he emailed and said he would get my refund of $990 issued to me. I still have not received the refund. After being asked to invest in his company in March of 2021, I did and was told this would be a (roughly) 60 day event that would be paid back afterwards plus interest. I sent ***** the money and ever since it has been a hassle to even get a response, much less paid back.My biggest issue is that since this was supposed to have been a short term deal, some of the proceeds were placed on a credit card to assist in quickly moving funds. However, due to non-payment, the interest in fees have been building up and that card is now in jeopardy of getting cancelled. I have already taken a substantial hit on my credit scores for this outstanding debt and it has cost me several times in other ways since this card was not available for me to use. Also, it is still accumulating a substantial amount of interest; hurting my credit further. I have messaged ***** multiple times over the last 12 months attempting to get payment or at least an answer and have had very little response. Around Jan. he did give me a partial repayment, however, that was only a drop in the bucket of what is owed. Also, I have attempted to go to several events only to not be able to due to a complete and utter lack of communication from *****. Some events have been cancelled or moved with no heads up or information; for example the last Gatsby party was moved to another date and there was no mention of it anywhere. I was already 3 hours into my trip and almost at my AirBnB on the day of before I finally got a response from *****... Which cost me about $150 for absolutely nothing- Just a long drive half way across the state, to turn around and drive home.Initial Complaint

We also bought tickets to the 2020 Gatsby event that was cancelled due to COVID. We were told we could get a refund or apply the balance toward upcoming events. Probably due to COVID no other Gatsby event was planned, and no other communication occurred until early this week when we figured it was time to go ahead and ask for a refund. I've contacted the owner, *************************, through three different social media platforms that he obviously uses on a regular basis and have not received a response.Initial Complaint

We bought tickets on 01/06/20, and paid for a photo package 03/07/20, for an event that did not happen due to covid. The owner offered beach passes as an apology, and we just had to pay the cleaning fee. We bought two of the beach passes on 05/21/20, and when we attempted to book the condo and after we received confirmation on our trip, we found out days before that the condo had been double booked, so we weren't able to go. Then the owner had a party scheduled at his manor on April 2, 2022 and we were going to use the money we had already spent on the original party for that, as we had never asked for a refund, he was allowing transfers, and were just waiting on a party we could attend. A week before the party on March 23, 2022, after we had purchased clothing, accessories (it was a themed party), and an Airbnb that was non-refundable, he cancels the party. So again we have invested in this event that never happened. I emailed him to ask for a full refund in the amount of $555 that same day, for all the purchases we have made and did not receive, as I have proof of purchase through emails and PayPal of all of it. He did not respond and I emailed him on April 18th saying I had not heard from him about this. He responded on April 18th and said he would be happy to get us our refund and asked if our address was still the same. I emailed him back 2 minutes after his email and said no we had to move and included our current address. I have not heard from him since and have not received any refund amount from him. I emailed him again on July 7th and still have not heard a response.
