On March 3, 2023, I took my 2017 *** 330i to EuroEnvy Autowerks LLC authorized repair shop located at ********************************************************************************** for repairs. I contacted them first, explained that my vehicle had displayed 3 times the same message for "LOW OIL". EuroEnvy back in December had done the oil change. Upon speaking with them, they said "bring your vehicle in, we'll check it and FIX the problem". They were made aware of my aftermarket active warranty. They kept the car for few days, conducted a complete diagnostic. Total repairs came to $1,966.17 of which I was responsible for $457.65 out of pocket, even with the aftermarket warranty. Not even couple of weeks had past when my vehicle displayed the same type of "LOW OIL" message. I called EuroEnvy to make them aware of the situation and to ask if repairs were made why was I experiencing the same type of problem. I was surprised to hear how unprofessional they were, they simply washed their hands off the situation, didn't even offer to re-check my vehicle and insisted that I take it to the *** dealer instead. Keep in mind, they are an AUTHORIZED *** repair shop.Business response

Following previous repairs, the customer was informed that per *********** bulletin SIB 01 01 22 it is normal for "N" & "B" engines to consume 1 liter of oil per ***** miles. *** attached bulletin. The vehicle was fully inspected and we replaced the ONLY component that had an issue using the aftermarket warranty provided by the customer. The difference in payment is between the warranty company and the customer as we do not install inferior parts that they recommended and in order to install GENUINE *** parts there was an additional charge. The customer had the option to decline the repair. The vehicle was not unable to be driven. The customer authorized the repair and agreed to the difference in pricing. When the customer called and stated that the oil light was back on, we recommended that he take it to the local *** dealer for further diagnosis as we were at the end of what we were able to do with the vehicle. The customer called back irate and demanded we give him a "free oil change" for his trouble. Why would you want someone you don't trust to change your oil? We respectfully declined and chose to no longer work on this vehicle despite servicing this vehicle and the couple's previous one since 2019.
