      I took my newly purchased vehicle in for a routine oil change on April 12th, 2024 and they put the wrong oil filter on my For Explorer and the filter was the wrong size and it came off the same night. The next morning I went for a drive and as i was driving my engine locked up and my car just shut off. My wife and son called to tell me my oil filter came off and oil leaked all over my driveway and my engine ended up being blown. I had it towed to the dealership and was told they would fix it with a new motor. However the replacement engine had ****** more miles than the original and didn't have the eco boost turbo. Now my vehicle wont accelerate over 40mph without all of the "service engine" lights coming on and now I am without my car again for the second time in less than a month.

      I recently purchased a 2019 Toyota Tundra truck from this dealership. The truck was advertised online with a navigation system. Once I got home and started to set-up the preferences for my needs, I realized the truck didn't have a navigation system as advertised. I've e-mailed the dealership twice asking for a resolution and I've send the sales representative who sold me the vehicle text messages and I've not received any responses from the dealership at all. It's funny how I received multiple e-mails and text messages from the dealership before I made the purchase and now it's complete silence like I don't even exist anymore and they are not willing to provide me any customer satisfaction. I'm not asking for much! I like the vehicle but one of the features I was looking for in a vehicle was a navigation system. But then I would've thought the dealership would have wanted to make it right. I'm really appalled that the dealership will not even contact me even though I've made multiple attempts to contact them to give them the opportunity to make this right. If MJT is going to treat me like this, I will never purchase another vehicle from them and I suggest you the consumer look elsewhere for your vehicle needs also.

A review of our inventory management and merchandising tool shows the advertised description of the vehicle Mr. **** purchased as follows: Super White 2019 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax 4WD 6-Speed Automatic Electronic i-Force 5.7L V8 Flex Fuel DOHC 32V LEV **CARFAX 1-OWNER**, New Cabin Filter, Hands Free Bluetooth, MP3/iPod/Aux, Backup Camera, 4WD, Black Cloth. Recent Arrival! Awards: *JD Power Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) *ALG Residual Value Awards, Residual Value Awards * 2019 KBB.com Best Resale Value Awards *2019 KBB.com Brand Image Awards Please note that the advertisement does not mention the vehicle having a navigation system. With that being said, I believe the vehicle is equipped with the ability to project an app based navigation system called ****t GPS. ***** is an app that is downloaded to the customer’s smartphone and then able to be used through Toyota’s Entune Audio Plus. We would be happy to have Mr. **** schedule time to stop by so we can verify this and then enable it on his vehicle. We can also assist him in learning how to operate the ***** GPS.       I went to have my car serviced for a tire rotation with Mark Jacobson Toyota in Durham, NC on Thursday, March 4, 2022 at 5:00 pm. I noticed that after my car was taken off the lift it was parked on the opposite side of the building. Therefore, I asked one of the guys who does check-in if there's anything wrong with my vehicle? I was escorted inside to talk to *********** ****, Advisor who told me that I needed to have an engine and carbin filter replacement, which I can have done at a later time. I told him that I would like to have it done today since I'm already here. *********** **** is very rude and confrontational, I had to ask him repeatedly to not invade my personal space. He also charged me for a engine filter and carbin filter only to discover that the work was never done! The quality of customer service has diminished, I will not have my serviced there any longer.
