On 7/2/24 Jordan Plumbing arrived on site to address an odor that is coming from our downstairs bathroom. Shortly after arriving, the tech advised that we needed a studor vent to correct the issue; we agreed to replacing the studor vent. We also asked what the next step would be if the studor vent did not correct the issue. We were advised that if the odor persisted, they would do whatever necessary to correct the problem. Within a few days of installing a studor vent the odor returned. We notified Jordan Plumbing that there was still an odor in the bathroom. They sent another tech to our home on 7/27/24 to correct the issue, he replaced the studor vent again and advised that if the problem was not corrected, the owner would come to our house to address the odor. Within a day, the order was back. We notified Jordan Plumbing once again that the problem had not been corrected. We were told that someone would come to our home on 8/3/2024, they never showed and again on 8/10/24, they never showed. Each time when we called to follow up, we were told that an "emergency" had come up. I called Jordan Plumbing on 8/12/24 to express my concern and discovered they had no intention of coming back to our house. According to ******, who claims she is the manager, the tech informed her that they had already been to our house twice. I advised we were never told they would not come back at the time appointments were scheduled. I requested a refund and also asked that the owner call me back. On 8/13 someone called me back who claimed to be a manager and advised that she was not able to provide a full refund but could refund $99 (which I never received). She also stated that the last tech who came to our house advised that we would not run the water, which is not true and a ridiculous statement. She also stated that they would need to do a smoke test which cost $700!To date, we continue to have an odor in our bathroom, and I've never received a refund from Jordan Plumbing.Business response

We did provide service to this customer. We went to their home twice. Upon further investigation, we notified them they would need a smoke bomb in order to determine where the smell was coming from. The customer did not want to pay for the smoke bomb testing in order to determine where the smell was coming from. That would be the only way to address the issue at the customers home. The most we could offer was the return of the service call fee, which was $99. Upon further the investigation, they were never charged the $99.Customer response
