******************* was contracted 2/23/23 for a trex deck beside my swimspa to include a gate and ramp that an 80 year old woman could walk up, and electric hookup. The quote was to include all of those as well as permits. He stated a permit was only required for the electrical which turned out to be false and he never pulled the electrical permit. The deck was considered complete by **** on 3/22 and is already falling apart and has been recommended by several contractors to tear down and start over. The ramp is too steep for most ages. Nails pop out all the way up. No gate was provided. The trex are popping up and were not installed correctly. He used two 2x4s screwed together on the tallest support beam. He used smaller joist hangers than was required for the joists and instead of using joist hanger nails used deck screws. The deck is sagging and the trex moves around falls through the joists because theyre not spaced correctly. The railing around the deck is loose. Theres a 12 inch area with no railing and is a 5 ft drop to the concrete. Theres me a half inch shim behind one 4x4 which makes it wobble and unsafe. The railing around the perimeter of the deck is not safe to lean on as it wobbles all around and was installed improperly. He was paid ******** as per contract and will say I owe him more for a change order never discussed with me. Im the only person on the contract and made payments but my fianc mentioned moving the location of the ramp and no discussion of money was with me or my fianc until after the fact of the ramp being 99 percent done. ************* lied to me this entire process. When I asked about gate he said no and when I showed him issues with the deck he said and?. I dont want him on my property. Her inept and disrespectful of my property. He left cigarettes everywhere in my yard with dogs. I want a refund of ****** and a real professional to step in. I am running out characters to say more but theres so much more to say about his work ethic.

We contracted with Precision Construction Group, LLC on February 13, 2023 to build a 12x14 deck for a new hot tub. The contract included the construction of a deck with railings and a bench, an electrical connection to the hot tub, and staining of the deck upon completion. We made a decision on April 15,2023 to terminate the Precision Construction Group , LLCs work on the project after 4 independent assessments by a civil engineer and three reputable deck construction contractors found the deck construction to be defective and not up to industry standards. Problems consistently noted by the evaluators of the partially completed structure were: 1) The deck floor was not level. 2) Access steps to the deck, and the associated handrails, were not built according to code and were a safety risk. 3) The wood pad built for the hot tub was not adequate to support the weight of the water-filled tub. The pad, covered by 1 thick, non-treated plywood, already shows signs of deterioration. 4) A deck railing was installed incorrectly resulting in instability. 5) An access door from the deck to space under our porch was poorly constructed and a large gap remained on the deck in front of the door. 6) A privacy fence was not installed according to the agreed-upon plans. There were also significant performance issues including failure to show up often with no notification. We paid the contractor $9150 in advance for the entire project which included the establishment of electrical service to the hot tub ($2000) and staining of the deck ($600). Neither of these two items had been started at the time the contract was terminated. It will cost more than $10,000 to dismantle the existing structure and rebuild it according to code to ensure its safety and durability. We believe we are entitled to receive a refund for the entire $9150 we paid to the contractor. We are willing, however, to accept a payment of $5000 from the Precision Construction Group, LLC to settle this matter.

Company was contracted to redo driveway. The old driveway was removed, and the new one poured on 10/31/22. Rain was forecast for that evening. I informed Mr. ***** of the forecast early that morning. He assured me it would be ok to pour the driveway. The driveway was poured and completed shortly after lunch. At approximately 4:45pm, it started raining very hard. The water running off of the roof was landing on the driveway, as I specifically pointed out to him before the pouring began. The rain washed a big spot beside of my garage, and washed down to the rock in the cement. The rain also washed the sand up from the concrete in several more places, and the finish washed away. I immediately called him and he said to set a bucket under where the rain was coming off of the roof. I did so, but the damage was already done. After numerous attempts to get this resolved with Mr. *****, the driveway has not been fixed. He sent some guys out to "patch" the driveway in two different spots. The concrete is white, and the patches are gray. Looks terrible for a $23,388 job. I have called, text him too many times to count about him fixing this problem. He will tell me he is sending someone, they never show up. He called me Friday, 1216/22 and told me there would be someone out here on Monday, 12/19/22 at 11:00am, AFTER he was informed he had until Friday to correct the problem. He stated alot of his workers were out of town, but he would have someone out here Monday. No one came as usual, and I haven't heard anything else from him. I feel I have been more than patient dealing with this, and now intend to pursue legal action against Mr. *****, dba, Precision Construction. According to research I have done, there is no way the driveway should have been poured with torrential rains forecasted for that day. I am seeking a refund of the amount it will cost to have another contractor repair the issue. I haven't had anyone come out yet, but will within the next couple of weeks.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I have been lied to way too much for me to believe anything he says concerning when the issue will be resolved. We are 5 months into this, and that has been ample time for my issue to be addressed. I have to wonder at this point if he is trying to buy time so the warranty will expire. He called me this past weekend and said he would get someone over here this week. Tomorrow is Friday.

      Sincerely,
