On May 28, 2024, I paid ****** Daniels 2400 for a deposit on a back deck project. I informed him the same week that we were going to have to cancel the job. He claimed he needed to wait to credit back for the materials he had already purchased. Just one of the many excuses I would receive. He still to this day has not paid me back my deposit or started the project. Now he will not return any of my calls or texts and I think he has either blocked me or disconnected his phone. Hes driving a gray/silver dodge ram pick up truck with TDS Fencing as his company name.Initial Complaint

In May 2021, I put a down payment of $4,600 towards a fence with ******'s Fencing in ************. I explained to him I needed it quickly due to my dog. He said it would not be a problem and could be completed in 2 to 4 weeks. On May 24th 2021, I closed on my house and had additional money from the closing so the bank paid Mr. ********************** $2,851.27 for a total of $7,451.27. This meant my project was paid in full before it was even started. Weeks passed with phone calls and excuses from ****************** with no fence built. Final in July 2021, I contacted an attorney, he sent him a letter giving him 10 days to complete the job or we were taking him to court. Mr. ********************** never responded. In October 2021 he was served with summons paperwork and we went to court on 4 November 2021, Mr. ********************** was a no show and the judge decided in my favor. He owes me the cost of the job, court fees and interest. Unfortunately, to this date Mr. ********************** still has not paid me back and I have NO fence. I am posting this so people know he has other businesses out there...STAY AWAY FROM HIM, HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY.Initial Complaint

In December of 2020 I hired *** ******* of Daniels Fencing to install a chain link fence on my property. I paid $5,200.00 for the supplies for said fence. He was supposed to install it in approximately 4 weeks. Now here, after every excuse in the book, I still have not received said fence OR a refund of any sort. I feel like he has taken advantage of the fact that I'm a disabled widow on a fixed income. I NEED HELP.Business response

*** ******* stole my money & used it to pay off debt instead of order my material for my fence. For months he communicated that he simply behind before he finally came clean that he never ordered the material & no longer had our money. A year later I still don't have my fence which was my anniversary present to my wife & we are out $5,000. He is still making excuses & won't refund our moneyBusiness response

I gave Mr. ******** (Daniels Fencing) a deposit check in the amount of $3,800 on May 18, 2021 to purchase materials to build a fence on my property. On July 20th, I inquired about a start date. Mr ******** responded via email that he was waiting for prices to come back down. August 31, I requested the refund of my deposit since there was no indication when the work could begin. Mr ******** said he would send a refund request. September 20th, after several inquiries I finally received the form via email with an incorrect address for me. I corrected the form, signed and returned the form. On January 3, Don Daniels offered and gave me $500 towards the refund. Daniels told me that he would have the remaining balance paid by the end of the January. As of today April 6, 2022, Daniels still owes me $3,300 and I have not heard from him.Initial Complaint

We paid a deposit to Daniels Fencing in May 2020 for a fence to be built within 5 weeks of the signed contract. We have never gotten the work done or gotten our deposit refunded. Don claimed for over 1.5 years that he would refund the money owed, but we have never seen it.
