i returned my product and still did not got a refund with out my id. why do they need my id if i returned the product

Amazon is getting worse and worse and Im tired of it. The thanks you get for being and Amazon Prime member. I have been a member for over a decade give or take a few months when times got hard. They want you to set up automatic delivery on items that you order often which is quite fair. But that system has failed me. Some things that are considered a necessity should have some sort of urgency if they actually cared. Necessity items like baby wipes, diapers, toilet tissue, cleaning items,etc. so this weekend after paying all of my bills I was trying to gage if I needed to update any automatic orders in time so as not to run out. One of those items was toilet tissue. Since you can look at the delivery date of an item I was trying to plan if I needed to select the item to be delivered sooner. The tissue whose should have been delivered Saturday Oct 7 never arrives and instead I get a update at 4pm to say my item has been delayed without any reason. I contact customer service and I kept on the phone for over 45 mins with no resolution, no reason why it was delayed, and they also apparently couldn't tell me the carrier so I could go to try to pick up my package. Was left on hold for incrimates of time and for what? The best that was told to me is that they could get it to me today Sunday Oct 8 but is that even guaranteed if the carrier decides they don't want to deliver it. The boxy is a huge box since its 80 rolls of toilet tissue. I am so upset as we have one-half roll of toilet tissue in my house for my family of 3. I have no money to get more tissue. And the price for that tissue is a good deal. I literally have to wait in the house and pray that my tissue comes today otherwise we are doomed. This is not the only important delivery that has been down through the years. Why can't they extend the date a day or two and if the item comes early the customer will be excited. I spend thousands of dollars on Amazon a year and this is the thanks I get.
