We signed a one year contract with Pine Log Co. (Clayton A*******) March 24, 2020. The contract stated pine trees were to be clear-cut and hardwood was to have at least a 10 to 12" stumpage. We filed a complaint with BBB, 1/11/22, because Pine Log failed to honor contract. Mr. A******* told us if we would close our case against them with BBB, Pine Log would finish cutting remaining trees as soon as weather permitted. He wrote up, signed, and mailed us an agreement 2/1/22. The agreement was as soon as weather permitted. After several weeks of good weather and not hearing anything from Mr. A*******, we reached out to him 4/15/22 (first contact since signing the agreement) and have continued reaching out to him. Mr. A******* told us in response to our 4/15/22 text they would be back in approx 3 weeks. Later texts he told us approx 2 weeks, today or tomorrow, etc. -- one delay after another, one excuse after another. Most of April, May, June and July's weather were good for logging. Pine Log breached both the contract and the agreement. We will let Pine Log out of both the contract and agreement for a sum of $20,000. Otherwise, they need to finish cutting the trees as per contract and agreement and be off our properties by 8/31/22. If neither of the above stated resolutions is acceptable and we have to take legal action against Pine Log, we will ask for the cost of having remaining trees cut and removed from both properties , attorney fees, cost of court, compensation for our time, and any other expenses our attorney deems necessary.Business response

Response to ******** We have not forgot about his concerns and we are coming quick as we can me ******** needs to understand we are running 11 crews and are catching up the weather has delayed us all summer breakdowns on equipment we will be there ...
