This situation is pertaining to a house in ******* NC that Mr. ********************** was hired for. At first he was very attentive and answered phone calls, emails and text messages. After payment was done on my behalf I did not have to communicate with him any further. We did have to wait for my ex husband to pay his portion but once that was done, Its as if he fell off the face of the earth. My lawyer has been trying to reach him for weeks pertaining to if my ex paid, if the house has been appraised etc. I have emails stemming from July pertaining to this property after my ex paid his portion. Now the appraisal has not been done even after him saying he would have it done on 8/8 via email he also asked for DOS again and my lawyer responded. Keep in mind he saw the house the end of June beginning of July. Yes, my ex not paying his portion immediately also caused a delay but since the payment its been the issue. This situation is now causing our mediation to be delayed since this is the primary discussion. After the conversation via email on 8/7 saying he would have it done the next day that he was in the mountains. We didnt hear anything back. On 8/12 my lawyer emails him again asking for an update no response. 8/13 she emails him again asking if hes ok because no response and I took it upon myself to call. He doesnt answer I leave a voicemail and he texts me that he is having a family emergency but that the report is done and that he will attach two reports asap, once he gets in the office. It is now 8/19 and my lawyer emails him again and no response. I personally text him and no response. It is now 8/20 and still no reports and no response. He is going to delay my mediation again if this isnt done. We just need the report to get this process over with. I understand issues arise but I believe communication can be a bit better as well as following through with what he said.

I had spoken with ******************************* while ago and updated her. I was on my way back into *********** from ******** from which she is aware of had a parent family medical emergency. She is correct. Ive been out of town on her parents family medical emergency. And I have been updating the attorneys. Im not sure its getting to her and Im also assuming the one attorney is when asked for updates. Theres several emails there and Im assuming that the other attorney email was in that chain but I had updated them earlier today that I was on my way back from ******** to the office and would upload ASAP when I got back into town. I did speak with her earlier today, but it is possible. Ill need to check before emailing out the appraisals that her attorney is

Is on the email chain again Ive been routinely updating but apparently its not getting to ******** and there are again several emails on the email chain  that asked for the updates its possible not getting into the other attorney but nonetheless, Ive updated them. Im on my way back. This is a civil matter and Im doing Appraisal for both parties but only one attorney has been asking for updates but theres several emails on there and Ive been assuming  all parties are getting the updates . As I spoke to ******** earlier this morning and had updated attorneys very early this morning that Im on my way back in and will be Emailing in the report and yes bad timing. The other party was not paying their portion and delayed at least a couple weeks and when they did, thats when my parents started having a medical issue but we will make sure and wrap it up ASAP. She also in our conversation was receptive and understood and appreciated that when I got back into the office,I would take care of the Appraisal

I am rejecting this response because: as of 7:27pm my lawyer nor my ex husbands lawyer have yet to receive the appraisal. Im not sure if he hasnt gotten to finish it yet but as of then my lawyer informed me it was not sent to her nor my ex lawyer.

I paid Mr. H****** in advance for a real estate appraisal. Prior to receiving payment, he was in regular contact. Afterward, he became difficult to reach and has not provided the appraisal or a refund over a month later. When he does respond, it's always with some excuse and a promise that he is "finishing up" and will provide the appraisal soon. July 8: Mr. H****** emails my attorney that he has inspected the properties and "should have these finished this weekend or sometime Monday." I tell him I will mail him a check in advance, as required. He writes me "No problem I'll have them ready to send." July 12: Check mailed. July 18: Having received no further communication from Mr. H******, I email to confirm he received my check. He responds "Yes I did and I’m finishing up your reports. Thank you" July 19: My bank shows the check has been cashed. July 28: With no further communication from Mr. H******, my attorney emails him to ask for an update. Aug. 2: I leave Mr. H****** a voicemail. He responds to my attorney's 7/28 email: "Working to finish up. Sorry was under the weather last week and some family members." Aug. 4: I email Mr. H****** asking for a specific date by which he will have completed the appraisals. Aug. 9: With no further communication from Mr. H******, my attorney again emails him requesting an update. He responds that he has moved offices and had difficulties with his internet, but will "finalize some odds and ins on reports and send to you later this week." Aug. 15: With Mr. H****** again having failed to deliver by his stated time, my attorney emails him to inform him that if we do not receive the appraisal or refund by COB 8/19, we will file a BBB complaint. Aug. 17: Mr. H****** responds to the email from two days prior: "Sorry the new office was a nightmare setting up... I will be working to get reports emailed by EOB tomorrow." Aug. 20: With Mr. H****** having failed again to provide the appraisal, I file a BBB complaint.

His basic information was right, they did not understand or were aware we did not get up and running last week having to switch ATT to spectrum due to combination of old phone lines and poor ability of AT&T to handle us properly, The email his attorney sent me which who has been my main contact I could not read or see till Sunday ( Including this complaint)   and responded to him in addition showing copies of  the work orders ending ATT&T and the new work order for Spectrum getting our office up and running.  Today will be my first operable day back in office and I told him I would get the reports over till him between late today or late tonight in that I am playing catch up obviously.  I will speak to them this morning when they open  They were aware of my office issues but not the extent or duration.   Thanks Ron H******

I have received the appraisals this morning. My attorney and I will review them in full, but at first glance, they appear to be complete and satisfactory. Assuming there are no problems with the reports, I will consider this matter resolved.

I contacted Ron H****** in April of 2022 to arrange an appraisal of a home my mother owns in Statesville, NC. My husband made arrangements to meet with Ron on May 6, 2022. He took about fifteen minutes to look at the home and told my husband he would have the appraisal completed by the following week. It is now June 3rd and we have yet to receive the appraisal. He cashed the check and will not return phone calls or emails. Last week, I threatened him with a BBB complaint if we did not receive the appraisal by May 30th and again, we have not received a response. I explained to Ron that my mother, who is 81 years old, needs the appraisal done so she can sell the house to the current tenant, who wants to purchase it. My father recently passed away and my mother's income has been cut drastically. Her health is failing and she is trying to move near our family but she needs the funds from the sale to relocate. She has had to pass on several houses because of this con-artist not getting the appraisal to us in a timely fashion, as promised. Ron H****** was made aware of the entire situation before the appraisal, so he knew he needed to get this to us quickly. This entire situation is causing her an enormous amount of stress. Ron H****** should be ashamed of himself, treating an elderly person this way, and the widow of a decorated war hero on top of that! It is a shame that a veteran's widow's income is cut in half after her husband's passing, her only wish is to move close to family and this crook takes money from her and is preventing her from being able to sell the home. My father was a Vietnam Veteran who received a Silver Star. He was one of the most hard working, honest men I have ever known. When he got sick unexpectedly, one of his last wishes was to relocate my mother near our family so we could help her. Nobody should be treated like this, especially an elderly widow of a veteran. Ron H****** should be ashamed of himself! We want a refund so we go elsewhere.

The last email I was aware of was 05/02/2022 before seeing property and if you read back then I had to search for emails once you said you sent them and they were in Spam.   Per your message you said you sent an email saying 05/30 etc but I never saw it again it was and another email slightly before then was  in Spam   I did get a text message on 05/16/2022 asking Status of appraisal and that spurred me to ask Jasmine in my office to call and get and email because I did not see one written in file and I usually if I don't see an email written I will type your name in on search but that would have not worked in your case.   I have attached the email she wrote down from calling you after the 05/16/22 tax message and it appears she wrote run after cabin but obviously marked through it.   It is impossible for me to know if it was given wrong or she wrote it down wrong but that is what I had.  If you want me to resend the appraisal to the email above I would be happy to I will be in office around noon. If you want the money back instead I will be happy to do that also, remind me how much it was, I think $250 but not sure because I cannot tell who made the mistake on the email.  Its possible it was on our end.   Let me know and I will do either

The appraiser came out to appraise the home on Friday, March 4th. He cashed our check for $300 on 03/16/2021. We have not yet received the appraisal. The appraiser will not answer my texts or emails; he refuses to provide us with a date the appraisal will be complete. I would like the appraisal asap, or a refund of my $300 if he refuses to provide the appraisal. This complaint could have been avoided had the appraiser simply contacted me to let me know the status of the service for which I paid.
