      I agreed to purchase this vacuum originally and traded in my old vacuum and made a down payment and set up payment plans. After about a day i decided i wanted to return it and the contract said I had 3 days to do so. I did all the necessary steps to return. Few days later i got my money back (my down payment) thank goodness and the vacuum was picked up by seller well not even the seller. The seller had someone who “lived closer” come and get it which was annoying. She reached out and said she would return my vacuum prior to this but I have not received it and it’s been about 10 days. I want my old vacuum back!! It states in the contract I should get it back within 10 days if i cancel. If she threw it away she needs to tell me and be getting me a new one or some money! ANOTHER issue is she said a SOFT credit check would be ran when i clearly asked her and a HARD inquiry is now on my credit report. Not to mention everyone was so rude once i cancelled. So nice when i’m giving you what you want and buying but then so rude when i cancel. FIX YOUR ISSUES RAINBOW PLEASE!

      The pick up of the Rainbow Cleaning System and the return of the original trade in were initiated on the day notice of cancellation was received. The cancellation notice was received prior to the physical receipt of the trade in at office location. Pick up of Rainbow from customer was scheduled to be done by another representative who was already near customer address and completed within a day. Trade in vacuum was sent to same local representative on Friday 10/20/23. 

      As soon as we received the email from the BBB, the representative was contacted. Due to unintentional oversight the representative didn’t get the trade in returned to customer on the same day as planned.The representative was very apologetic and one of the managers arranged to pick up and take the customers trade in vacuum directly to their residence along with complimentary gift card for their inconvenience on 10/26/23.

      On 07/09/22, Jon did a demo of a rainbow vacuum system for my spouse and I. We wanted the vacuum and shampoo features. We were told if we get at least 3 people to demo we would get the shampoo for free. We purchased the system with the financing option. He did not say there was a 3 day expiration. I did not read the contract to see for myself, completely my fault. I contacted both the distributor and finance company to return the system since we did not get the full qualities that we wanted it for. They both are refusing to help with the situation. Jon is offering free products and interest free financing but will not accept a return. I even offered to pay a penalty. I don't mind paying a penalty. However, I should not be forced to keep an item that I cannot use for what I wanted it for. The finance company is saying they need to talk to the distributor, Jon, and has not been able to get in touch with him. However, he has been answering and returning my calls just fine. Why can't they simply provide some assistance when you are trying to do the right thing? The only way to void the contract is to not pay....so confusing. They want me to not pay and keep the product amd it goes on my credit. Just so they can keep the money??? That is not a win, win. I simply want to return the product, pay a penalty if needed, and be put of the contract.
