I'm still receiving bills from "North Dakota Registered Agents, LLC" even after informing them that I will not use their service in the future. They were were notified on 3/02/2022 via email and responded to that email Sounds good on 3/02/2022. They were notified again that I will not use their service on 09/19/2022 in response to their email North Dakota business annual report is ready to be filed by November 15, 2022. There have been numerous additional email bills since then and I received a bill in the mail (05/20/23). I contacted ND SOS on 02/02/23 after receiving an email invoice and was told to submit a Withdrawal Application (confirmed 02/07/23). How do I get them to stop sending me bills?Business response

Good Morning,
Thank you for the opportunity to respond. ***** has contacted our office numerous times and we have informed him numerous times what must be done in order to discontinue using our services however he refused to do the required steps in 2022 or hire us to do the require steps to withdrawal his company from **. Until that is done we did serve as his registered agent and providing the agreed upon services. The threat of contacting the BBB was given to us and here we are. On 2/7/23 ***** did file a certificate of withdrawal with the ** SOS office so all that remains is for him to pay for services rendered.
Here is the verbiage we send to all of our clients who request discontinuing using our services that are still licensed to do business in **:
"This business is still licensed to do business in ** according to the ** SOS. You will want to file a certificate of withdrawal with the ** SOS which will relieve ** of our duty under state law to act as registered agent. Upon withdrawal and the open account in our office being paid we will close the account in our office. "

I am rejecting this response because:
I am disputing the bill from the Search Company of North Dakota. The fact is that they did not send ANY information on how to discontinue service with them or the State of North Dakota until after January 2023. He states that they send the verbiage to customers discontinuing service, but I never received that information prior to 2023. This is clearly a miscommunication on the Search Company of North Dakota part for which he takes no responsibility. The current invoice is the original $40 plus $60 in late fees for a total of $100.

No further response will be provided as ***** has decided that he needs to smear our company not only with the BBB but also with the ** ************************ and on social media.
Today we received a letter from him with payment that was very unprofessional just like the previous communications we have had. We are happy that he has paid for services rendered and we wish him well with a new provider.
