I was in to sound decision the second week of September of 2021 to get a full audio install/swap from a completely factory setup as I had just bought this 2006 civic from my grandmother. I was billed approx $1380. I had provided some of the audio equipment being installed but nothing that had notable problems upon return. The highlight of this problem area pertains to the subwoofer installed in the rear deck. This was a factory enclosure and we came up with the general consensus that this was going to be a hard fit and no modifications. Along with this, the brand of speaker I had wanted was unavailable, which according to specs would have fit well but I guess we won't ever know. I asked them to pick their best recommendation for this same area and now they decided to shove this Polk in there. Must not have checked to see if it even fit. I got my car back and immediately some hardware like my astrostart autostart module was falling out on my feet by my pedals. I called and asked them what was up with it and was told to tuck it up there again. It kept falling out and so I called back and they told me to zip tie it up myself?!? That's when I told them about my trunk and how the torsion bars were hitting the magnet every time I would open and close it. So we made a fate appointment, I got my car back after not even an hour and decided it might be best to see how they fixed it and they very obviously must have decided to move some the hardware for my trunks torsion bars. I don't trust them working on my car anymore because of how sloppy of a job they did but the owner refuses to pay anyone else to fix it the right away and says "it's a five minute fix". I left a star google review and was immediately getting emails and then even calls over this debacle. That torsion bar resting on 2 of the 3 newly installed speakers in the rear deck is sending vibrations all throughout my trunk. The integrity of the moved hardware is going to vibrate right out. Please help, I feel stuck.Business response

We have worked extensively with the customer to explain and discuss options to remedy the issue with the customers complaint with his vehicle. Multiple emails and have been responded to and phone calls have been made explaining the issue at hand and the options to move forward to fix the problem with his vehicle. We have offered multiple times to repair the issue at hand with the vehicle free of charge which is covered by our installation warranty. We have also offered for partial refund and removal of the stereo equipment that is causing the problem with his vehicle. The customer has been very hard to work with in us trying to remedy the situation. The customer refuses to listen to the options available by us to remedy the situation. The customer continues to bring up issues with the vehicle that have nothing to do with the work recently completed by us to the vehicle. The customer also has left 1 star reviews on various websites related to the situation. We have also randomly received multiple other 1 star reviews shortly after this altercation that has nothing to do with issue at hand and no explanation for the 1 star reviews. This customer has admitted to talking with his friends and family about the situation and has threatened that they will be leaving reviews to show his concern with his problem. We have done all we can do in offering a resolution at this time for the problem.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
they caused damage to other components of my vehicle that they weren't supposed to and these were factory brackets. They aren't to be trusted working on my vehicle after it was in multiple times and it still came back ready to fall apart. They are not qualified to repair the brackets that they moved as they didn't even look at how they started damaging my vehicle upon moving hardware.Business response

We have already gone over the options for this customer over the phone, in person and over email. The customer feels we damaged his vehicle which is untrue. We were required to move a factory bracket for clearance for a stereo speaker that the customer ordered and instructed us to install in his vehicle. The brackets that are considered "damaged" could be easily repaired, replaced, or moved to remedy the situation. Since the customer will not allow us to do so, there is nothing else we can do to remedy the situation. At this point we feel we are being harassed by the customer at this time due to the fact we have corresponded multiple times prior with the customer ending in the same result. We are more than willing to make the situation right but cannot do so at this time due the customer actions.
