On Dec 17 my wife and I stayed the Victorian Inn in Lincoln Ne. The following morning my wife checked her credit card to see if we charged the correct amount and everything looked good, but four day later she had noticed a 50$ charge on her credit card. She called the motel to inquire about the charge and they stated it was for damage done to trim by the bathroom sink( the plastic corner piece that protects the corner wall). I told the employee that my shirt snagged as I was walking by and that no damage was done to the trim itself and that it didn't have adequate amount of adhesive. I asked for full refund of the 50$ he said he would adjust it to 30$. I said no I wanted a full refund of the 50$. He said he would talked to the manager and have him call me right back, I haven't not heard anything sense.Business response

I'm sorry to hear about this experience at the New Victorian Suites in Lincoln, NE - *** ** **** ** Lincoln, NE 68504. Please note that our ownership/management group does not oversee this property. The complaint issues somehow went to the New Victorian Inn in Norfolk, NE - **** ***** ***. Norfolk, NE. Please reach out to the BBB to remove this complaint from this location and to reach out to sole owner of the Lincoln location.
Our hotel management/ownership company sold this property on August 1st, 2023. So the account that this BBB came through is unable to assist in this matter as they no longer oversee the Lincoln New Victorian Suites location.
I recommend you reach out directly to the hotel in question = The front desk number is ************ and the new owner, ******, email is: ****************************Again, this complaint was issued for the wrong hotel. I hope you get your issues addressed.
