We had Wees Concrete pour an extension to our patio in November and paid him $**** cash. As the snow melted, we have discovered that one part of the extension is not level, nor does it match up to the original patio. We are also not happy with the residue left on the original patio. He has been unresponsive to multiple attempts to contact (text, voice, and e-mail).Initial Complaint

Date of transaction: 12 Oct 2021, Dollar amount: $****, Nature of the complaint: The work to be performed was the removal of a concrete slab in our backyard and the removal and replace of our concrete driveway at ******************, ************. The contractor removed the concrete, framed the driveway, and then poured the new concrete. The entire project took approximately 5 days. On 22 Oct 2021 the contractor told me that he would drop off the final invoice in my mailbox and pick up his cones. He never gave me a final invoice and did not pick up the cones until 1 April 2022. On 6 Nov 2021 I told the contractor by text message that the machine he used to cut the lines in the cement left oil stains on our driveway. Then on 4 December 2021 texted him again and asked again for the final invoice. On 28 January 2022 asked him again the same questions I asked on 4 Dec 2021. Still no final invoice. On 12 April 2022 my son examine our concrete driveway and noticed over 12 small holes in the concrete and the square on the bottom right side was caved in. I notified the contractor by text to come by the house so I could show him what we were looking at. It is now 2 May 2022 and we have not heard from Wees Concrete. I expected Wees Concrete to either refund us for that one slab that was poured incorrectly or to re pour that square of concrete once again.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/05/31) */ The complaint is completely untrue. I left him a invoice in his Mailbox once the job was completed and paid for. It turned out amazing and I actually got work from the neighbors because of it. Another neighbor told me that they ***********************************************************. I believe that these customers do this to everyone. I would love for someone to drive by and look at it as I am proud of the job we did. Consumer Response /* (3000, 14, 2022/05/31) */ 1. Contractor did not leave me a final invoice reflecting the new price he gave me after telling me not to write a check to him but to pay him cash. 2. You say that you stand by your work yet you will not talk to us face to face. 3. Your friend from ************** (four of his workers) told me precisely what you did wrong when smoothing out the concrete. The poor workmanship affecting all the slabs on the right side. In addition, you did not take out the leaves from our tree in the front yard and left over 14 holes in the concrete. 4. We are not like people that complain; but when a contractor does a poor job we want them to stand by their work and make the necessary corrections. Willard and Janice *****
