Used snowmobile service on 02/03/2022. Held a pending charge on my credit card of $2,000 for if any damages occurred while using the service $1,000 each. The representative informed me the pending charge would be dropped 7 business days after the service, manually by the company. The pending charge was still on my account until 03/06/2022 which dropped on its own since it expired 30 after the service for being held too long. My credit card company says the pending expiration date is 11/30/2024 for it to be released back into my credit availability and that the merchant will need to go in and correct the expiration date so the reversal can process. The owner claims he cannot do anything about it and that my credit card company is to blame.
