I had my driveway done on April 18, 2023. Due to the weather it was prepped on April 17th and paved on the following day (18th). I had received a contract for gravel, grading, base coat and top coat iao $5,500 as you can see in the attached photo. When they came, they tried to turn the paving machine on and it did not start and they proceeded to do the entire driveway and walkway with a rake. I have a fairly large driveway. They pitched the driveway and walkway TOWARDS my house and you can see in the photos all of the puddles and how level my fence is how they pitched the driveway towards the house. I should note this was all done from scratch so they ripped out my previous driveway. They never did the top coat like I paid for and kept telling me I don’t need it. First off, I do need it and I paid for it to be done. They did not tamp the edges on my entire walkway and it is crumbling and the grandson *** told me that’s normal it’s the edges. I have read similar reviews to mine of this happening to them. I tried resolving this with them as there is a one year warranty and continue to get the run around. I will need to file a complaint in court to get my money back to have my entire driveway fixed for the water issues and a top coat applied as my driveway is not finished. I paid $5,500 for gravel, grading, top coat and base coat along with removal of the previous driveway and stumps. My driveway is still full of dirt imbedded into the asphalt from dirty wheels from the roller. It has rained for weeks straight and it is not coming off. A new driveway should not look like this.Business response

Dear ****, in regards to the complaint from ******** *****, I met her as she worked for her stepdad installing an irrigation system at my property. She said she needed her driveway done and asked me to give her an estimate on it we did, and she accepted and gave us the work to do we want to do the driveway and yes, our paper machine was giving us troubles starting so we proceeded to do job by hand the old-fashioned way, and we did some work by hand as some areas are too small for a paving machine to get into. We completed the job and she was happy with it and paid us. If she wasn’t happy she wouldn’t have paid us. We do not ask for no money out front until you are 100% satisfied, her step father *** T told me the very next day she let a moving truck park on it and put the ramps down on it after she was told not to park on it for a few days as it’s summer in the asphalt stays a little softer, and it needs a few days to harden. We have pictures even recent ones that show there is nothing wrong with the driveway at the time when she called to express her feelings about it, we have tried to communicate with her to resolve it and she won’t speak to me. I went out in person I believe She just wants a free driveway from me. I would love the to go in front of judge to tell my story and show the pictures of my work. Also, she is discriminating my company in categorizing us as doing this all the time I have been always registered with New Hampshire and have been at this location 50+ years I did not see the email that came in from you guys because it got reported to junk – spam mail, so I am sorry for the inconvenience of replying to this late. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call.Customer response

This response is ridiculous. I had a moving company at my home the next day on my brand new driveway? I have lived at this home for over a year, why would a moving company be here and if there was, why would my step father call them up and tell them this? They are notorious scam artists and travel all over the country doing this. I have a signed contract from *** S****** indicating gravel, top coat will be provided and neither were done. They did my driveway by hand because they refused to get another machine to do my massive driveway. I tried resolving this with them on multiple occasions. In fact, *** came to my property 3x which I have in text, phone calls and ring camera footage showing this. Despite their “one year warranty” they refused to give me what I paid for and all the water is now going into my home because they pitched the entire driveway into my house. I gave them the opportunity to resolve this prior to filing a Complaint and they refused.I will continue with the lawsuit as I have proof of discussions via text with this company for a month with no resolve as well as photos, contract, etc.
