Shawn and his wife, Michele were very attentive and helpful in the beginning. I felt that I had not only found a contractor I could trust, who would help me realize my dreams for my new home in an affordable way, but also solid people who might become friends. Shawn went missing, reportedly due to illness, after I expressed displeasure with some work he did that may or may not have been the result of a miscommunication - I'll reserve opinion and comments from contractors who have since seen our communications. I finally heard from his wife who communicated they were in finicial straits and without transportation. My partner and I offered Shawn work with transportation to our home, along with the purchase of an item they were selling, and home cooked meals and dog food, to try to ease their burden. Since that time, Shawn has collected money for work and supplies not completed or used, not made amends to the work that's less than satisfactory, and left me with a "bagster" dumpster in my yard for months - for which he had no account (I've called WM). I've tried to communicate with Shawn and Michele to make this right. At the end of the day they're not honest people and despite losing money, I also lost trust.

****** went to the store to get a can of dog food simply because we were working on her floor until 1 am and to prevent me from having to stop working, she volunteered to go across the street to go get it. Not sure why shes adding all the dramatics to the story. We chose to stop working with her because the home is covered inside and out in dog and chicken feces that has not been cleaned up once in the two months we've know them. The house is unsanitary and left two people sick from working in that environment, hence our refusal to do any further work. They are also angry because they have an oil spill that needs to be cleaned up that we repaired to temporarily stop further ground contamination. They are angry because I told them what was originally thought to be a small spill did not need to be reported, has turned out to be a 300 gallon spill which requires they hire an environmental consultant and clean up company to excavate the site , remove and dispose of the contaminated soil that is worsening by the day, and causes fines that compound daily if left unattended to. I will be reporting this spill and the property will unfortunately be condemned until the environmental impact has been addressed. ****** has also slandered me personally and we will be seeking damages for that as well.

This is completely false. We were clearly on friendly terms, as no professional would be working at my home at 1 am. I have all of our text conversations. Also, my oil tank doesn't hold 300 gallons. I have the receipt from the company who filled it they didn't put that much in. It's since been inspected by a reputable company and there are no issues. Shawn is a blatant last and this could have all been resolved by returning about $1000.
